"Who could've done this?" The detective ranted to his new partner, the DA. I watched from sitting on Ethan's lap with Jack by our side. "It certainly wasn't me. No, no. Somebody, not me, must have move it in the time of when I stepped out for a few minutes to take care of some personal business that you don't need to worry about. Which leaves you three!" Abe pointed his finger at Jack, Ethan, and I.
"We were focused on Angel's headache. You know how much Mark adored her and entrusted us to take care of her, Detective." Jack said smoothly with a frown. "She's our number one priority, especially Ethan's."
"Valid point." Abe huffed. The butler walked in, clearly surprised.
"What the hell happened here?" Butler shouted.
"Again! Ears!" I whined, leaning my head back onto Ethan's shoulder. The proximity for me, Ashley, is making me nervous. I'm sitting on Ethan's lap with his arms wrapped around my waist, hands resting in my lap, and my hands on his. This is weird.
"The body has been moved." Abe said, stating the obvious.
"On its own?" Butler asked. I mentally rolled my eyes.
"No, of course not. Unless it did, in which case we've got a way bigger problems than a simple murder." More damn thunder and lightning.
"Is it something like you?" Ethan whispered in my ear. I shook my head.
"No, that was definitely a corpse." I mumbled in addition.
"What the hell happened here?" Chef asked casually as he walked in, ladell in hand.
"The body's been moved." Bulter replied.
"On it's own?" Chef asked. I started noticing a pattern here.
"We haven't quite ruled that out yet, but let's not forget we've got a murderer." Abe said, making the lightning strike again. Colonel randomly appeared behind the DA, who, strangely enough, doesn't speak.
"Bully! Quite a storm out there, eh, chaps? What are you doing huddled in here in fear?" Colonel questioned.
"We have a zombie problem." Chef answered.
"Ah, Homo necrosis! The most dangerous game." Colonel got up in the Chef's, Butler's, and Detective's faces. "Well, if someone needs to put the old lad down again, I'm well up for the privilege."
"What do you mean by 'again', and what do you mean by 'privilege'?" Abe inquired harshfully.
"I'm just saying, I've got plenty of experience on the matter." Colonel responded.
"Really? You have experience with killing the undead?" I asked with a scoff. Colonel ignored me.
"So do I." Chef added to what the Colonel said.
"Yeah, that just raises more questions." Abe said.
"Well, I'm off to the grounds to see if I can catch of a whiff of the old bag of bones, eh?" Colonel declared with a laugh.
"Weren't you and Mark the same age?" Butler asked. Colonel just kept laughing as he walked away, ignoring the butler.
"Alright, I don't trust him." Abe said confidently. "Then again, I don't trust anyone." The Chef, Butler, and Detective all shrugged in union to the DA. "Alright! Lock this place down. I don't want anybody in or out of this place until we get to the bottom of this."
"Locks won't keep people from getting out, sir." Butler corrected Abe cautiously.
"Locks won't, but Chef will." Chef declared, walking away. I felt Ethan move some hair from my neck, lightly kissing it. My insides flopped at the feeling. However, Angel seemed as though she didn't care. Like it had happened a million times before.
"Wanna go somewhere more private?" He whispered in my ear. I gently nodded. We got up and left the room, heading for the bedroom we'd stayed in last night. Ethan's lips came onto mine the second the door was shut. The kiss had been gentle and sweet. I just watched in surprise as it happened. "With everything going on, we haven't gotten much time together, have we, Angel?"
"Not at all." I hissed. Thunder cackled again, making my ears burn. I cupped my ears, groaning.
"Easy, Angel." Ethan picked me up and set me on the bed. He crawled onto the soft mattress, cuddling up with me. As I closed my eyes, I heard the Colonel's voice from outside.
"Oh, life needs a bit of madness, eh, chap? Now, what were we talking about?" With that, everything went dark.
~
I awoke on the floor back in Markiplier HQ with a stirring Ethan on the couch. I walked over to him in time for him to awaken. He looked at me, then the rest of the room, then back at me. I looked around as well. Everyone had collapsed, even Amy, Kathryn, and Felix.
"What's going on?" I asked, my voice echoing slightly. We are ourselves, not the people in Who Killed Markiplier.
"I..... I don't know." Ethan replied shyly, not bothering to look at me. This time, I know why. Our alter egos put each other in some odd fucking positions.
"About them-"
"No need to discuss it." Ethan cut me off quickly. "That's them, not us." I took a deep breath.
"Why doesn't this feel right? It feels as if we aren't meant it be here." I mumbled, sitting down in the sofa.
"I wonder if all of us woke up here when our characters went to sleep." Ethan replied.
"We didn't the first night." I pointed out.
"Yeah, but we all passed out drunk. Not peacefully go to sleep." He corrected me with a smile. I smiled back just as darkness came back.
~
I got awoken by the thunder, which stirred Ethan as well. We ran downstairs in time for a girl to enter.
"Stop!" She barked.
That's part six! Wow! Shit going down!
Peace.
Love.
Out.
