Amaya's POV

"Okay, change of plans. I'm going to have to kill two birds with one stone." I mumbled to myself. All that's left now is to get rid of Efude and Uekiya.

But I won't be able to eliminate them as long as I'm in the stupid Student Council. I've just gotta be on my best behavior and end this punishment quickly.

I stared at my rivals' pictures as I thought about turning one of them into a mind slave and having them killed the other. That would definitely solve my problems.

(Sunday)

My siblings and I went to mall since Dad didn't want us spending our whole day in the house. "So, what do you wanna do?" I asked. "You wanna head to the arcade?"

"Actually, I already arrange to meet with Budo here." Ayano said. "Yan-kun?" I asked, looking at him. "I'm gonna bail and head to Taro's house." He informed.

"Make sure his brother and sister aren't home." I teased.

"Why should I make sure... Oh, shut up, Amaya!" He snapped, making me laugh. "What are you gonna do?" Ayano asked me. "I think I'm gonna walk around for a bit." I answered.

"Okay. See you later." Yan-kun said before we all went our separate ways. I went to the second floor of the mall and browsed around. "Amaya!"

I turned around and saw Hanakõ running over to me while waving. "Amaya! Hi!" He greeted. "Hey, Hanakõ. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, Hanako is taking a class and Big Brother is reading at home! So, I thought I'd come here and kill some time! What are the odds that we'd run into each other here?" He said, cheerfully.

"Couldn't tell you." I replied. "You wanna walk together?" He suggested. "Sure, I guess so." I said, shrugging my shoulders.

We walked around the mall for a bit while Hanakõ told me stories of how he'd use to get lost in the mall when he was shopping with his family.

"Hey, Amaya. Can I ask you something?" He asked. "Uh, sure." I answered.

"You're dating someone, right?"

"Uh-huh."

"Well... I was just wondering... If you were single, would you go out with me?"

'Whoa. I was not prepared for that question.' I thought. "Would you?" He repeated. "I... Well..."

How do I let him down easy? I don't want to hurt his feelings. He's really sensitive. Should I just say yes to make him feel better? I've always found Hanakõ as a little brother figure.

This is awkward. What do I say? "Well..." I was momentarily saved when my phone vibrated in my pocket. "Excuse me, Hanakõ." I said, and answered my phone.

"Yeah? What's up, Yan-kun?"

"Hey, listen. I need you to do me a little favor."

"And that would be...?"

"Could you watch Hanakõ?"

"Which one?"

"The male one. Taro wants to go to a movie, but he's worried about leaving his little brother home alone."

"So, you told him that I'd watch him until you guys get back?"

"Could you?"

"What about the female Hanako?"

"She's gonna be staying with a couple of friends from her class, so she and her parents won't be back until late."

"Yan-kun..."
