Thanksgiving was around the corner—by that I mean tomorrow—and going home wasn't an option. Everyone at work was already beginning to discuss their thanksgiving plans, whether it was traveling back home or having dinner with family right here in New York—I felt kind of left out.
Laurel told me she was heading to SoHo, because she said she knows a friend whose family lives there.
