Y/N sat there staring at Clara that was currently telling a speech about "saving the environment."

She was a goddess compared to her.

She had red hair that cascaded down her back, and freckles that lightly covered her naturally rosy cheeks.

She was the kindest person at school.

She was always smiling.

She was everybody's friend. Except for Y/N that is.

No wonder he chose her.

Not too long ago Clara and Y/N had been best friends.

They would do random things and were the nicest people ever. They talked about everything.

And when Y/N told her that she had a crush on the skater boy that was also extremely cute she didn't think that anything horrible would happen.

She never would've thought that her cousin would come up to her the next week saying;

"Me and Finn are dating !"

"You're okay with this though right ?!"

"I'll break up with him if you want to ?"
Clara said way too quickly.

It took a moment for her to register it. She even pinched herself to make sure it was real.

But it wasn't a dream.

It was real.

Her best friend was dating her crush.

And there was absolutely nothing she could ever do about it.
