"I, uh.. don't have one." I lied.

"Oh.." she seemed disappointed. "Well that's fine."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, I don't believe in making cripples feel lowly."

I somehow felt better. I get to make a friend who doesn't care about my ability. Yay.

"So what's your ability?" I asked her.

"Invisibility."

"Nice, so you spy on people?"

"No..." she smiled and looked away. "Okay maybe."

I laughed.

I look down and see everything was already unpacked.

"Done already? Yay, let's do something."

"Okay." I giggled. I looked down and noticed my long hair. I should cut this. I remember wondering what it would look like, well I guess it's time to find out. "I have an idea."

"What?"

"Let's get my hair done!"

"Huh? But your long brown hair is already flawless."

"Nah~ I want a change."

"Okay, well let's go, I'll pay!"

"You don't have to." I said as I started walking out.

"But I want to."

"Okay, fine, I won't argue."

We walked outside and I just stood there.

"Don't know the way?"

"I'm new to the area too, so not really."

"Ah, okay." She grabbed my arm and pulled me. "This way."

She led me to the salon and we walked in.

"Welcome ladies."

"Hi."

"Who will we be working on today?"

"Her." Amber pushes me forward.

"Hi." I repeated.

"Come on over here dear." The stylist led me to her hair. "What will we be doing today?"

"Cut and color..."

"Wew, going bold are we?"

"Nah, just want a change."

"Okay, so how long and what will we be doing about the color?"

"Umm." I stared in the mirror. "About to here," I pointed just below my shoulders, so it was somewhat long, but not too short. "And I want my ends to be blue."

"Okay, let's get to this."

I sensed some kind of power up. Is this some sort of ability so the customers are in and out? I glanced in the mirror and seen her eyes glowing. Yep, it's an ability, who woulda thought. Maybe I can subtly use it just to maintain it so I don't have to keep coming back?

After about two minutes, I realized she was done.

"How's that?"

"Awesome! Thanks."

"I'll be paying," Amber stood up then turned around to face me. "Woah, you look so different, yet amazing!"

I laughed. "Thanks."

Amber paid for my salon job, and we left and headed back to the dorm.

Wonder if I should start wearing beanies too? That'll probably be cute too.
