Izuku was having a nice sleep, all bundled up in his blankets, he hugged the warmth next to him and drifted off to a dream

Wait

He groggily opened his eyes, he almost screamed seeing intense ruby red eyes stare at him with such intent but Bakugou slapped a hand on his mouth

"SHHHHHHHH, you're gonna wake up your mom, Izuku!" The blonde angrily whispered, Izuku whined and removed his hand

"What are you doing here Kacchan? Can it wait in the morning? I really wanna sleep!" He whispers back, Katsuki huffed and pulled the greenette close to him

"Kacchan?"

"What are you waiting for? Sleep already" Izuku stared up to him curiously, then he noticed that Kacchan's body temperature is high, not because he's sick, but because of his quirk

He's like a warm teddy bear right now, a teddy bear that would make his sleep really comfy, Izuku snuggled up to the blonde, relishing in the heat the blonde gave out since it was cold tonight, he felt short arms wrap around him and a small kiss to his forehead before he went to sleep

When Izuku woke up he was much more calm, he's still kinda surprised that Bakugou is here but hey, atleast he won't get cold, he tried to get out of the blondes grip but he heard mini explosions happening so he chose to stay still

"Izuku"

"Yes Kacchan?"

"I'm sorry" he mumbles, Izuku's eyes widen because Kacchan almost never says sorry for anything, he smiles brightly at him and hugs him

"I'm sorry for not hanging out with you guys too! And I'm... I'm sorry, for hanging out with someone else instead of you guys, you two tried to be sneaky but me and Shoucchan noticed you"

"Who's Shoucchan? Is he your boyfriend?" Izuku shakes his head

"Um no, I met him on the swing on the park a few months ago and he looked really hurt so I bandaged him up, I saw him again the next day and he's like that again, I-I started to not hang out after school because I kept visiting him to see how he's doing..."

"So you're pretty much using him as a guinea pig?" Izuku pouted

"Of course not- well maybe for the food- sorry I didn't make you guys taste anything until yesterday! Um I wanted to make sure you guys ate something edible..." Katsuki frowns at Izuku's mumbling, he carefully placed his lips on his, Izuku stilled until Katsuki pulled away, he frowned

"You're not supposed to do that with me, Kacchan, you should wait for the person you'll really love"

"I love you"

"Were just kids Kacchan, we're not even in high school yet..." Izuku smiles

"How about this, once we go to high school and you still haven't found anyone else, I'll kiss you back okay? But that's it, you still have to find your soulmate- don't give me that look, I already told you that I'm not your soulmate- plus even if I was... I'll just weigh you down, I'm quirkless and weak"

"I don't care about stuff like that, I want you to be my soulmate"

"Thanks Kacchan"

"Kacchan kissed me yesterday" he says to his friends, Kirishima was with them, Izuku figured that it's best to introduce Kirishima first to Shoto before Kacchan, think of it as the calm before the storm

"What? Why? I thought you already told him that you're not his soulmate" Shoto's brow furrowed

"Hey dude do you want me to make him apologize for the kiss too?" Izuku shook his head

"N-No it's fine, I told him that if he didn't find anyone he likes 'til high school I'll kiss him back but only that"

"Really?"

"Kacchan still wants me to be his soulmate, I don't know why, there's nothing special about me... I'm quirkless and weak, he should find someone else better"

Out of all sudden, Kirishima cupped his cheeks and kissed him, Izuku's eyes widen

"Izuku listen! You're one of the most coolest person I have ever met! And I... I want you to be my soulmate too! I totally love you dude!" Kirishima yells

"W-Wha-"

"I'm... not gonna kiss you... but only because I want our first kiss to be special, I also want you to be my soulmate, Izuku" Shoto mutters, holding one of his hands, Izuku feels kinda dizzy, maybe he's dreaming or something

"B-But But! Y-Your- you guys have soulmates-"

"I personally don't care about stuff like that, I just want to be with the one that I love"

"Me too! I don't wanna be lead around by fate, I wanna be with whoever I want"

"Guys guys guys! We're like what, 8 years old? Can't you guys wait until we're high school too like Kacchan? I'm sure you'll find someone better!"

They were quiet but they nodded

"Hey hey dude, do you have a soulmark?" Kirishima asks Shoto, Izuku has a bad feeling about this, inching a bit further from them, he takes out his jacket from his backpack and wears it on, just incase

".... I'd rather not show but-"

"Does it look like this?" Kirishima asks, showing him his wrists, Shoto's eyes widen

"Yeah... it looks... it looks exactly like that-"

Izuku's eyes widen

What are the freaking odds that all three of his best friends who have amazing quirks and are on the way to become pro heroes, are all marked to him

Can't he have a soulmate that he won't weigh down?

Now that they both know they have the same soulmark, their marks softly start to glow, Izuku quietly palmed the right part of his neck, hiding his already covered soulmark, thankfully the jacket hides Kirishima and Shoto's soulmark good enough, heaven forbid that they all group up together with Katsuki

"Izuku? Why are you wearing a jacket? It's hot out"

"I think it looks pretty cool"

"Oh... if you want to keep wearing that then come here" Izuku nods and sits next to Shoto who started to use his ice quirk to cool Izuku up, Izuku keeps his guard up, he started to cover his right next as well with his hands, trying to make it seem like what he's doing is normal

Clearly doesn't work, Kirishima stares at him curiously

"Now that I think about it, you're always wearing jackets and scarves even when it's hot out, is that like your style or something?" Izuku nervously nods

"Dude I just wanna say, you don't have to wear stuff like that when it's so hot out, we totally don't mind! You look super cute in anything!"

"I agree, this seems unhealthy" Izuku shook his head

"N-No way um, I feel.. comfortable in this? It makes me feel special!" He blurts out

"Oh well if it's like that... then whatever makes you happy"
