"Hey, Juno," The man winds his arm around Juno's shapely shoulders. "Who's the cute gothic chick?"

Heeding his words Mimi merely twitches her upper lip while Juno frowns.

The words 'gothic chick' had seemed to catch everyone's attention as they hadn't realized the young girl standing next to their boss's assistant.

Her appearance was extremely...bizarre.

Noticing everyone's eyes had landed on her Mimi hid a smirk threatening to rise on her red painted lips.

Shifting out of the man's grasps, Juno wipes away the invisible dust on his shoulder before looking up.

Thinking he would lecture him about personal distance, the blond-haired man was surprised to see Juno turn towards the girl and bend his upright body down to produce a perfect bow.

"Ms. Mimi, I apologize for Mr. Sato's behavior," He apologized. "I hope you won't hold it against him."

Fiercely resisting the instinctive urge to snort, Mimi merely reveals a faint coldness through her piercing purple gems.

"Whatever, it's fine," Mimi said briefly.

Rising his head up to see if her pleasant words were genuine, the young assistant searched further into the young girl's brilliant eyes - carefully searching for visible signs of anger or annoyance.

Yet in the end, all he found was mere indifference beneath the layers of eyeshadow on her face.

Divinely revealing a light smile, Juno sighs gently in evident relief.

At least she wasn't the type to hold a grudge.

He was genuinely worried about the persuasion he would have to go through to make Mimi generously forgive the man.

But in the end, she hadn't really cared, which typically caused him to feel instantly relieved.

Finally, after making sure there was no hidden meaning in her chosen words, Juno turned towards Mr. Sato with reasonably blaming eyes.

"Mr. Sato, please mind your manners when you're speaking to someone," He warned sharply.

The man known by the name Mr. Sato looked vaguely speechless by his sudden actions. He'd never seen Juno bow to someone besides their boss – Tobias Itou.

Of course, any man would bow to Tobias Itou as the man was unfeeling and indifferent with immense power.

Messing with someone like him was like being in a cage of hungry lions with no possible exit.

Or possibly Mimi when she was hungry in a corner...

However, not only was Mr. Sato shocked, the rest of the watching employees who had now looked like gaping fish were also stunned.

From Mimi's essential point of view, it was visible that they were all trying their best not to eavesdrop and work professionally.

But of course, who wouldn't like to witness a rare show unwind?

Especially when it was kindly offering itself before their very eyes?

"Mr. Sato, this is Ms. Mimi," Juno promptly begins introducing. "She'll be working in the tech department for now on so please treat her kindly."

Typically emphasizing the word please, Juno shifts his intent gaze towards the gothic girl with upturned eyes.

"Ms. Mimi, this is Eli Sato, he's the director in this local department," Juno properly explains. "He'll be progressively introducing you to your station and assisting you until you get the hang of things here."

A new tech hire?

If she was a recent hire, how come she was treated with such authority?

Not to mention Juno – Tobias's assistant personally delivered her over to make sure she was comfortable.

A few of the more professional and senior employees knew not to dig too much into it. After all, their job was to work, not gossip.

Not to mention it wasn't any of their business.

To them, a new hire was a new hire.

However, a few of the younger employees – mostly the female employee's, active brains instantly began to spiral with a distinct variety of theories.

Was she a dear relative of the big boss?

Was she possibly someone with higher power and was there to spy on them?

Or maybe...she was the boss's young mistress!

Once that thought spiraled into their heads they immediately threw it away.

Not only did the girl look no younger than fifteen-years-old, but her distinctive appearance was far too contrast with their bosses.

Too much was different from the two. Then again there was that saying opposites attract...
