Well, its official. My abuela sees straight through me—she's alot of things but stupid isn't one of them. And she's probably gonna banish me from the family.
Not that I haven't done that all on my own
She questioned me for, like, a full hour after I woke up. She really doesn't believe me when I say I haven't spoken to Jah. I mean, I'm lying, but I thought I was better at it.
Only good news is that my fever is gone.
I was laying in bed that night, staring up at the ceiling. Waiting. Its 2AM and my eyes are getting heavy. I don't know how much longer I can stay awake. I shut my eyes for just a second and—

Jah appeared beside me, chuckling.
"Sorry I'm late." He laughed
"You almost made me fall off the fucking bed!"
He sucked his teeth.

I couldn't hold back the smile that tugged at my lips. I helplessly melted into his arms.
"Where are your parents... do you have any?"
I laughed
"Yes I have parents. What do you think? I just fell out of the sky?" I asked
"Maybe. I don't really understand how humans work."
