Chapter 1

Left with no other choice, Lu Yan leaned over and gently pressed his lips against the chapped and chilled lips beneath him. Flustered and nervous, as this was his first time, Lu Yan backed up a bit. However, a second later, he pressed his lips again against those plump but cold lips before him with his eyes closed, totally unaware of two black orbs beneath him looking as if wanting to bore their gaze into the face plastered to his.

If you are all wondering how on earth Lu Yan got into this ambiguous situation, let's recall what happened from the very beginning.

"You damnable man! How could you always write tragic endings for these poor protagonists! Ahh, my heart...TT^TT, for all the heartbreaks you've given us readers and pain you've caused to our beloved protagonist, I curse you to have a never-ending tragic death!"

Yes, it all started with this puny reader's rant in my blog's comment section that caused me to fall headfirst to my death—ahh, no, into a sleeping beauty, scratch that, into a human vegetable whose soul got captive by the evil mechanically laughing system named Ah Bao.

Truth be told, Lu Yan was mistakenly accused. He is not some crazy dude with loose screws in his head who would write bad endings for his protagonists. Seriously, who would?! Ahh, let me correct that; there is actually someone damnable who does that—my rotten, sick-in-the-head twin sister, Lu Yin.

That freak, who's too lazy to even make her own blog, posted her works on my blog without leaving a note that she is my twin, not me, because she wanted to act mysterious. And me, being the kind brother that I am, let her do what she wanted without knowing the mess she created. I mean, hello, I'm already busy making my own work; how would I have time to read hers?! So, yeah, the reason I got cursed was all because of this rotten woman who knew nothing but to drool on every hottie she set her eyes on.

If ever he is given another chance, he really wants to smash that head of hers; she knows nothing but to make ships that sink! If you are wondering why so, I remembered she once told me that she ain't going to believe in love, as she never felt it herself, so she finds it unbelievable, though at that time I thought she was referring to some romantic kind of love. Later, did I know how wrong I was.

And the heavens have ears and heard his prayers; I mean, his cursing thus gave him another shot in life, but seriously is this some scam? Or a modus operandi of some crime syndicate, cause whatever this is it sounded ridiculous! But whatever passes cannot be undone, so do I even have a choice?

Being a writer as a profession, he definitely has read or skimmed a thousand or if not hundreds of books in his previous life, and with that, he has opened his eyes to various genres and got accustomed to it. And in his life before, the situation he is in can simply be described by a word: 'CLICHE'.

The evil, mechanically laughing system nicknamed Ah Bao just explained to him how he will jump on various worlds and complete multiple tasks and missions to obtain points and skills after. Yeah right, so original, I shrugged. Not really understanding how this seemingly fantastical unscientific cliché situation that is happening to me will forever change what I believe in and what I hope in life for.

But yeah, cliché as it is, the main point is actually to --- To Die For the Protagonist!!

And as to why that is, Ah Bao just laughed and said it's payback! What?! It wasn't my fault they experienced life tragically. It was that rotten woman's fault!! Can I call for a lawyer? This is so unfair!!

【Well, we got no choice, you already died, and besides, she is your sis, and to add on that, your twin, you two have this great connection with each other. So, can't you just suffer in her place? Hurhur~】

I swear I feel that this evil system is secretly sneering at me.

**Author's Note:**

*Hurhur - is an insincere, typically sardonic expression of mock amusement. Or it can imply scorn, mockery, or derision that is manifested by either verbal or facial expression.

*Lu Yan: "Luk" in Cantonese. The character also means "leaving without reason". Chinese 艳 (yàn) meaning "beautiful, gorgeous" (which is usually only feminine).
*Lu Yin: "Luk" in Cantonese. The character also means "leaving without reason". 荫 (yīn) meaning "shade, shelter, protect".
*Ah Bao: Chinese character 阿 (ā) which has no distinct meaning. It is not normally given as a name, but it can be prefixed to another name to make it diminutive. 宝 (bǎo) meaning "treasure, jewel, precious, rare".

Yep! That's for the first chapter! Moving on~~~ Yeah, right! This person here is an amateur, reading lots of Danmei and Yaoi Novels got me to write this!!!
