I was done with finals, finally. I was rehearsing every day for my part in sleeping beauty. I was coming home and soaking my feet in an ice bucket while I texted Dalton. Sometimes he would call, sometimes he wouldn't, sometimes he seemed different, more closed off, he chucked it up to having a bad day. I didn't ask more than that because I didn't want to pry, even though I felt like Dalton and I were getting really close I didn't want to push him away, I liked talking to him and it seemed like he liked talking to me, so I focused on that. I would see him in less than a month, and my show was at the same time. June is going to be the best month of my life.

And what was going to happen when he actually came to visit me? I was probably going to go crazy. I wanted to see him, but not if it made me like this. I am a shy person, I don't normally do well with people, but for whatever reason, I wanted to let Dalton see every part of me, and that terrified me.

Aaron was being more than supportive, he still made jokes about the way I was acting about Dalton coming but he didn't go too far. Aaron knows his boundaries. Elenore and Tori are the best, they are helping me stay grounded and juggle him, school and ballet. Elenore gave me advice and Tori pretended to. They mostly just made sure I still had time for them and I was grateful.

Having Dalton in my life made me forget about everything else around me, he made me feel like it was only him and I in the world and I needed those girls to keep me grounded. My mom of course reminded me at least once a day to not let Dalton get in the way of my future in ballet. I think she thought I would end up like her.

Walking to lunch I pick up my cap and gown that I'll need tomorrow. After that, I head to my seat for lunch. On today's menus are hot dogs and soaked in grease hamburgers both with a side of the hard bun. Sounds inviting, doesn't it. So instead of eating, I text Dalton.

Juliet- Sent:11:50am
Gross school lunch, but cool cap and gown.

Dalton- Sent: 11:52am
School lunch is always the worse, but it's never as bad or as good as they make you think it is in the movies. Ya cap and gown, what color?

Juliet- Sent:11:53am
Blue.

Dalton- Sent: 11:54am

Juliet- Sent: 11:55am
Umm, I don't know? a mix between dark and light blue? I guess?

Dalton- Sent: 11:57am
I bet you look good in a mix between dark and light blue.

I've never thought about that before.
How does graduation work for homeschooling?

We still graduate.

I figured but do you get gowns? Do you have a ceremony?

It depends if you attend a church you can. At least where I live we don't really have a ceremony, we do have a party though.
