Imogen Farien Avery and Niklaus Mikaelson entered the living room and saw Rebekah Mikaelson, who was still inhabiting a female witch's body, standing in front of a painted portrait of herself in her original body that was created centuries ago hanging on the wall, along with Elijah's, Klaus' and Imogen's.
Rebekah pouted as Imogen stood beside her. "That is just not my chin, Nik. It was much more delicate." she complained.
Klaus smirked and stood behind the two women. "The only delicate thing about you, sister, is your ego." he told his little sister.
Imogen sighed in disbelief as Rebekah turned to face Klaus with a sarcastic smile on her face.
"Well, placed next to the behemoth size of yours, certainly." she retorted.
Imogen looked down at her phone on the table beside Klaus. "Elijah." she groaned.
The three could hear the older Mikaelson's amused chuckles from the phone.
"Could we dispense with this fascinating dispute for just a moment and return to the subject of our supposed long-lost sister?"
Rebekah sighed and looked at Imogen and Klaus. "There's not much to discuss, Elijah. She said she was Freya, and then she darted off into the night." she said.
"And you believed her?"
"Well, I met the girl in a mystical loony-bin. She could be anyone telling any lie. But, she did seem familiar, somehow." Rebekah said with furrowed eyebrows.
Klaus looked frustrated as he rolled his eyes. "Then how is she still alive?" he asked and sighed as he paced anxiously around the room. "A question, as ridiculous as its possible solutions, given this family's annoying predilection for cheating death."
Rebekah sighed and shrugged. "I dunno, Nik, I'm just telling you what she said." she told him.
"Well, did you happen to ask, if by some similar miracle, our aunt Dahlia lives as well?" Klaus asked sarcastically.
Rebekah frowned. "I barely had a chance to process---"
"Because on the list of obvious questions, it would be nice to know if the woman who placed a curse on the first-borns of this family is still breathing air." Klaus cut her off.
Rebekah glared at him. "Well, let me just turn back time and do it again to your liking, then!" she said loudly.
"Enough! Both of you. If she is who she says, we'll find out soon enough. For now, it remains imperative that no one learns of Love and Hope's existence. This has been our salvation thus far."
