Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer blasted down Gemini's headphones as she sat on the bus travelling to one of her destinations. She sighed as the people on the bus stared at her and Dixon weirdly. 'Just because he's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier doesn't mean he's dangerous. Get ahold of yourself.' She thought.
Clicking the stop button, Gemini made her way to the front of the bus. She quickly hopped off music still blasting down her ears.
She walked into the family shop, Braddock's, and came face to face with Nate. He stepped back confused,
"You're not on until tomorrow, what're you doing here?" He asked as she rolled her eyes at him,
"Thanks Nate, feeling the love." She signed glaring at him, "No, anyway on a serious note, I'm here to get something for the little Barton's. I'm visiting them today." She explained making Nate raise his eyebrows.
"Your anxiety isn't playing up?" She shook her head, "Well, good for you, have fun and give them my love."
She nodded, "Will do." She signed walking off to buy the gifts, knowing exactly what to get each child.
Gemini didn't visit the Barton family farm as much as she wanted to, mostly due to her anxiety. However, when she did go, she always brought gifts for each Barton child (and Clint seen as he's a big child). Laura always said that Gemini spoiled them but she never saw it like that, she like giving gifts, a lot more than receiving them. She hated the question she, like many others got asked, 'What would you like as a gift?' It's not like she thought about it everyday just to blurt (sign) it immediately.
Another reason was because she felt uncomfortable receiving gifts because, if it was bad, she would have to put on a fake smile and thank the person no matter what. It mostly made her fell bad about it.
As her brother scanned the items, he looked in the bag confused, eyeing the next gift. Holding it up to Gemini he asked, "Why are you buying a massive bottle of Tequila?"
"You know how much Clint likes his Tequila. It's his bae, after Laura of course." She explained with a smirk on her making Nate laugh,
"Alright then." He replied scanning the item, "That'll be $75." She glared at him smacking him across the counter, "Ow! I was joking. That'll be $35, Jesus Gem, no need to assault me." She continued to glare at her brother as she handed him the money.
