Sitting in the middle of her bed eating a cart of Rocky Road ice cream, Jazmine watched Netflix on her tablet.

Her phone continued to go off and she continued to ignore it. She had three days left of her vacation before she had to return back to reality, when in actuality, reality had snatched her out of vacation early.

After the Robert situation, she couldn't help but to feel alone and stupid. Here she was 24 years old and alone. She only had a little black pitbull at home, that was sad. She didn't have any friends, she took a vacation with her family. She didn't have a boyfriend and she just couldn't handle the feeling anymore.

As she looked around, constantly there were people enjoying their lives but here she was at a standstill. She didn't even go out.

"Im pitiful." Jazmine plopped back on to the pillows at the head of the bed.

"Get yo ass up!" Mother Dear's voice startled Jazmine.

She sat up and seen Mother Dear and MaCartier standing at the foot of her bed.

"How did you get in here?"

"I had to talk to Maria the cleaning lady."

"Mother Dear, I just want to watch my movie and eat my ice cream." Jazmine sighed.

"Nah, we came all the way over here and it wasn't for no damn shit you can do at home!" Mother Dear popped Jazmine on her thigh.

"Get up, clean yourself up and meet us downstairs. You have 20 minutes or imma give you a good ass whooping." Mother Dear walked out.

MaCartier sat down on the bed staring at his sister.

"What's wrong? Like what's really wrong?" He whispered.

"Nothing, I'm just in one of my moods." Jazmine shrugged.

"Have you taken your medicine?"

"I didn't bring them, didn't know I would need them."

"Well when we get back home, I think you should get back on them. I'm worried about you sis." He hugged her.

Jazmine welcomed the hug and cried on his shoulder.

"Sometimes I can't get believe you're my little brother."

"Yeah, you got lucky with my fine ass." MaCartier wiggled his brows.

"Boy shut up and get out so I can get dressed."

"Yeah, let me go." MaCartier covered his mouth as if he was going to throw up.

Jazmine threw a pillow at him and went to shower and get dressed.

She did her lotion and unbraided her hair before slipping on a sundress and her flip-flops.
Walking down to the lobby, Mother Dear smiled.

"Lemme take a picture of my fine ass sister." MaCartier joked as he took a his phone out and Jazmine posed:

"Now come on, we got two days left and I want to go to the carnival

"You can't just take my child away from me!"

"Aaliyah you need to leave. I tried to give you a chance and you had that nigga over there, knowing I was coming over. The nigga didn't even have respect enough to put on some damn clothes. He answered the fucking door in his damn boxers and you want me to fucking leave my daughter around that mothafucka?!" Dave yelled in her face.

They stood in front of his black Escalade truck arguing while Jaliyah was in the backseat enjoying the air conditioning and playing with her toy dinosaur.

"You can't do this!"

"I can and I have the government behind me. I did this out the kindness of my heart, but don't worry about seeing Jaliyah again. Fuck out my way." Dave pushed Aaliyah.

She grew angry and began attack him from behind. She hit and punched him in the head until Dave turned around and slammed her on to his truck by her neck.

"Bitch I will fucking kill you, leave me the fuck alone before you come up missing." Dave's eyes grew cold.

Aaliyah hadn't seen this side in awhile and she was honestly so scared that she pissed herself.

Dave let her go and slid into his truck, locking the doors before looking back and checking on Jaliyah who was now knocked out.

He smiled and pulled of towards his new destiny. Destiny, not destination.
