MARIYA POV

It was the next day and I wasn't sure  if I want to see Lorenzo today. But I have to go so that I can help Hazel with the kids. I was getting dressed and ready to leave so I wore a white t-shirt with a rainbow on it that says fall vibes and with that some dark jeans. I placed my hair down then picked up my bag.

When I got to the daycare, I got settled in and ensured that everything was okay so that when the kids come things will fall into order. I saw parents carrying their kids, I checked the time and saw that it was 7 am. "Go mornwing Miss Adeson... look" Damian said as he ran up to me with a card in his hand.

"Good morning Damian... is this for me" I asked as he handed the card over to me and he nodded. "Aww you are so sweet, thank you I love it" I said then hugged him tightly. He blushed then ran off. I opened the card and it had drawings on it, it was me wearing a cape that says super teacher lol. It wasn't done well but it really means a lot to me.

My phone pinged and I looked down at the screen then picked it up when I saw that it was Hazel.

Hazel: Good morning Bestie

Me: Good morning, I am so sorry, I didn't get your message yesterday I was so busy with the kids and stuff.

Hazel: That's okay Riri. Sooo I heard that Mr. Esposito came to the daycare yesterday.

Me: Yes he did. Will you be coming today?

Hazel: yeah, even though I'm still tired from last night events.

Me: Eww I don't need to know that lol.

Hazel: How many kids does he have?

Me: Two and they are so adorable but he is an ass.

Hazel: I get that you are hurt but you have to let go have that past, I coming over bye.

Me: It's not that easy, I'll see you.

I placed my phone down then sighed. Most of the kids were already here just a few more and we are ready to go. I heard someone cleared their throat and I looked to my left. I rolled my eyes when I saw Lorenzo standing beside me.

"You're early," I sarcastically said and he smirked.

"Good morning to you too," He said as I stood up and brushed past him. I don't know why I felt tingles spreading throughout my body, but why? After what he did to me I should not be feeling this way. I turned to look back a him and he was staring intently at me. "Mariya" he called as he took steps towards me. My heart started throbbing in my chest and I took a step back. "Plea-" He was about to say but Mia cut him off.

"Dada!" Mia shouted as she ran up to the both of us. Lorenzo smiled then took a step back.

"Dada sissy's cwying," she said as she tugged on her fathers pants. He looked back at me then walked over to the other side of the room where Amelia was crying in her car seat.

"Good morning Mia," I said while waving my hand at her and she looked at me shyly then waved her hand. Parker came running towards us and she looked at Mia.

"Hi my name is Parker, let's play," Parker introduced herself to Mia then grabbed her hand and ran away.

"Good morning my lovely darlings!" I shouted and everyone stopped what they were doing and turned towards me.

"Good mowning Ms. Andeson" Most of them said while some couldn't say it properly. I could feel someone staring at me and my eyes met his. He picked up the carrier then walked over to me.
