Fang's pov

This woman somehow seems suspicious. I narrowed my eyes at her. "Its--"

*ringg!* My phone suddenly rang. I looked at Boboiboy and he nodded, allowing me to be excused.

I walked over to a corner far enough from the two, then answered the phone call.
"Fang." I slightly felt goosebumps as I heard his voice.

"Sir.." I tapped my foot and played with my nails. "Is anything wrong?"

"How is it? The client? What did she say?"

"Nothing much .. Not yet atleast."

"Hm?"

"We just arrived. Sorry, sir."

"Ah, I see.." I could hear his sharp breathing through the phone.
"Take care of Boboiboy, I'm counting on you Fang."

I couldnt help but frown.
The call ended even before I could reply; making me sigh.

It's always him, isnt it?
Boboiboy...

I watched him from afar, jealousy creeping up my veins.

[Location: Damsel's Facade main building]

Yaya's pov

...

"What?"

"You heard me." Disgusted, I walked towards my desk.
"F. I. R. E. D. What do you not understand, Ms. Chesca?"

She grabbed her violin and ran out of the room, speechless.

I massaged the bridge of my nose. "Ah.. so damn annoying"

I didnt need a silly musician in my company. What for, anyway? Commercials? Ads? There are many more gifted people out there whom I could hire and I dont need one who has the strength to disobey me even if she has all the talent in the world.

Tsk. Youngsters these days..

I wonder how Ying is doing right now, if she does well, everything would go according to the plan.

I know she'll fail me.
But that's what I need.
Failure is the first step to deceiving the enemy; the most important step to my success.

Someone suddenly knocked on the door.

"Who is it?"

"It's just me, ma'am."

"Ah, Popo."

She shut the door closed and bowed as a sign of respect.

"Is something wrong?"

"I accomplished my task, Ms. Ya."

"Ah, yes. yes." I took a small envelope out of my drawer and lent it to Popo.

"What about the guy?" She asked, rummaging through the contents of the envelope.

"I'll send his payment through his father." I said, reassuring her.

"Thank you, Ma'am." She bowed again before leaving.

Ah, you see, the thing at the jewelry shop was a set-up.
It was more of a "greeting" for my dear Ying.
Sadly, even though she has improved with her 'job', she hasn't noticed that.

Which is exactly why I need her for this.

She will get caught.
She will be befriended.
She will catch them off-guard.

And Queen's Palace would barely exist. You will pay for what you did, Boboiboy.

You stole my heart once and fooled me, but now I will return the favor by making everything around you collapse.

-FLASHBACK-

Boboiboy: Together, we'll live somewhere far off this wretched city.

Yaya: you promise?

Boboiboy: yup! *smiles* Nothing can seperate us, Ya!

Yaya: *giggles* when we grow up, okay?

Boboiboy: I promise. Cross my heart and hope to die!

Yaya: no no! Dont die!

Boboiboy: hehe, im just kidding, Ya.

Yaya: dont joke like that, okay?!
I dont want to lose you Boboiboy..

Boboiboy: eh? Of course you won't! I can handle myself, you know?

Yaya: Boboiboy..

Boboiboy: hm?

Yaya: I'm just... scared.

Boboiboy: scared?

Yaya: what if you betray me someday?

Boboiboy: WHAT?! WHY WOULD I BETRAY YOU YA?

Yaya: I-Im not sure either..

Boboiboy: Listen! *holds Ya's hands*

Yaya: *blushes*

Boboiboy: I'll never do something as wicked to you.

Yaya: never?

Boboiboy: never.
