"Welcome to the basement!" Essie exclaimed flicking on the light as she dropped one of Harrison's bags on the floor, thankfully it just had clothes in.
The basement had been converted when Essie was little to a chill out room where her and Fra could relax, play video games, and for the next few weeks would be where she, Harrison, Sam and Tom would be sleeping, on blow up mattresses.
Immediately Sam flopped on a mattress claiming it and his brothers followed suit, Harrison as well leaving Essie to giggle and sit down on the only mattress left, between Harrison and Harry. (The order was Tom, Haz, Essie, Harry then Sam).
"God this feels so good!" Tom sighed, kicking off his shoes.
Essie nodded her head and laid back exhaling loudly. Harry looked over at her and saw that her eyes were closed and she looked so relaxed. It wasn't long until her lips parted and her breathing deepened. She had fallen asleep so quickly, especially for someone who doesn't like sleeping. The redheaded boy didn't even notice he was staring until Sam nudged him.
"Stop staring, mate, it's creepy." He whispered as Harrison pulled a blanket over his cousin.
"Yeah, please remember I am in the room and she shares the same blood as me," the blonde chuckled, tugging off his shirt and chasing into pyjama bottoms, it was ken thing being shirtless in front of Essie (she doesn't care) but in his underwear is slightly uncomfortable.
The other boys followed suit, acting quickly just in case the girl woke up; she didn't. Sam flicked off the light and they settled won after a long day.
Harry laid on his side and listened to the sound of the snores being emitted from the boys, and he could just about make out Essie's facial features in the darkness. She was so peaceful and even had a small smile on her lips.
She mumbled something incoherent in her sleep and edged over more on the mattress, pulling the blanket up more, Harry doubted it was comfortable sleeping in what she was wearing but, then again, she hadn't woken up to change.
In one swift movement her arm outstretched and her hand made contact with his. She didn't gasp it or anything of the sort, it simply sat beside his. He felt the heat and blood rush to his cheeks and stayed perfectly still. Essie didn't move after that and neither did he, or not that he realised anyway, his eyes shut slowly and he was sent off into a deep slumber.

Harry woke up the next morning and found Essie stretching, a yawn slipping from her lips.
"Morning," he said quietly, aware that the others were still asleep.Essie's head snapped over to Harry, unaware that he was awake until she heard his, rather deep, but even deeper and husky from his sleep, speak. "Morning," she smiled wrapping the blanket around her more. "Did I fall straight to sleep? I don't remember much from after we came down here."
Harry nodded, leaning on his elbow, "you laid down and was out like a light," he told her, "I don't blame you, the others were soon to join you."
"Did you sleep alright?" Essie asked Harry edging closer to him, they had to talk quietly and quite frankly, it was quite cold.
"Yup." Harry grinned. He sat up properly and Essie's she's widened when she realised he was shirtless. It wasn't like she wasn't used to seeing a male without a shirt, her brother practically lived shirtless, she just didn't expect it.
Awkwardly, she stood up and flattened what she was wearing, "I'm going to get changed and then do my chores, see you in a little bit."
Essie scurried out of the basement leaving Harry to flip back into his mattress. "He's so whipped." Tom whispered to Haz.
"Clearly."

That evening, after a long day of raining the fields and many photoshoots, courtesy of Harry with help from Essie as well, the group were sat in the kitchen, the lights dim whilst the rest of the Mulligan's were at Nanny and Grandpa Mulligan's house.
Essie and Harry were about to edit some of the photographs, whilst Tom, Sam and Harrison did quizzes online, when Harry noticed Essie peeping over his shoulder.
"You write film scripts?" She asked him, pointing at the pages document he was shutting.
Harry blushed, "Yeah, I make short films."
"Coolio, what's this one about? Unless you don't want to tell me." She pointed at one entitled "Roses for Lily."
As Harry told her all about the film she listened carefully, her legs tucked up underneath her, a mug of coffee up to her lips and her eyes never left Harry. He wore a bright smile on his face as he told her everything, even ideas for the places he would like to film in and how Tom is going to be the tea boy.
The two were so immersed in what they were talking about that they didn't even notice that Sam had stolen Harry's camera and snapped a photo of the pair, not until it came to him putting the SD card from the camera into the computer and discovering it. He showed it to Essie who smiled and watched him edit it to see if he edited photos the same way she did.
He didn't.
He did it better.
It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing whereas Essie just tried things and saw what she thought looked nice. Welp. This was going to be embarrassing when he noticed how she edits photos.
After editing it, Harry posted it on Instagram and looked over to Essie smiling. "I like that photo." He told her.
"So do I."
