I packed by bags and as I pulled out my clothes a note fell down on the floor.I lowered down to pick it up and unfolded it

and zipped it close then I noticed the ring on finger,I removed it and put it on my bed and exited the house without saying a word.
"Are you sure about not telling him?"Adriano asked as I stare at the waves
"Yes he doesn't care anyways "I said swallowing the pain
We reached the airport and he carried my suitcase out of the trunk
"See ya"I smiled then walked into the airport

I missed everything about New York,as the cab drove me by the streets I reminisced how my life was
I smiled looking at the buildings the yellow cabs busily traveling
Im home...
I climbed the stairs of Louie's apartment my heart beating fast as my tears demanded to escape
I knocked and instantly opened revealing his dashing smile
But its crumbled away
"Who are you?"he asked
I rolled my eyes
"You look like shit"He informed
"Louie just in case you forgot I look like shit for the years you've been my friend"
"You looked shittier"
"Thank you"I smiled
"Are you really my Andrea?"He asked cupping my face and squeezing my cheeks
"Same soft cheeks,brown eyes..."He voiced inspecting my face seriously then he positioned his hand on both of my cheeks once more then suddenly squeezing them together
I glared at him then he smiled widely
"Girl!"He shrieked and hugged me tightly hopping
"Ow Ow my eyes are gonna pop out"I said
He finally released me from his hug and looked at me
"What happened you got uglier"He said in a serious face
"Thank you"I smiled
"Welcome"
"Come in"He said pulling my suitcase
His place was the same as how it was when I left
I looked at his couch and remembered how I stressed before looking for someone to marry then my sadness stroke again
"Hey want something to d---whats wrong?"he asked
I let go of my "Im okay"facade then finally rushed to hug him
"Dude "he caressed my back
"I made a mistake Louie"I sobbed
"What is it?"He asked still feeling his warm hand rubbing my back
"I fell inlove with my business partner"I sobbed"I thought it will never happen but he played with his smiles and words"
"What?"he asked in a serious tone pulling me back to look at me
"You can not be crying like this just because you fell in love with him"he said
"Im not,Im crying like this not because I fell inlove with him but also because he is intentionally hurting me knowing how I feel about him"
"What do you mean?"
"He is kissing woman in front of me I know its in the contract that he can do whatever he wants, he is just like any other man once they get what they want they look for another"
"Bitch what?"He asked in shock once more
"Girl no stop "He said waving his hand in objection"Stop those tears right now"
I wiped my tears listening to him
"Girl look at you,you over here cryin for that motherfucker?nope na-uh we dont do that.You are just confused girl you shouldnt be over here cryin he fuckin played you with them words you should be angry!he fuckin played you!In case you remember in the contract you can do whatever you want too you can kiss a motherfuckin man if you want to!he aint worth it"He clapped his hands with slow pacing emphasizing his words while he spoke awakening me to my senses
I nodded feeling pumped up with his pep talk
"You're right"I nodded wiping my tears
"The hell Im right!girl you are just confused you were fooled!"he clapped once more"You should hella get angry!Girl you should start to look at it once more you married him to run away from Fabian and where did the girl who hated that man since she was in high school?"
Then everything was clearer the fog was gone!
"Thanks Louie"I smiled then hugged him
"So girl wanna grab some drink?"He asked cupping me in his arms
I looked at him then smiled remembering the old times
"Come on"He tilted his head signaling me with a smile
He's right Im just confused,he rounded me with his words I forgot my freedom I forgot the reality...It is just an act.
