A story.
A story of desire.
The desire to live.
Live to give life.
Life to someone.
Someone to be called mine.

I feel my existence.
Existence of
Me.
Me with a heartbeat.
The heartbeat of my heart.
Heart to give.
Love.

I feel my arms.
Arms to hold hands.
Hands of mom and dad.
Mom and dad- to- be.

I can hear.
Hear the sound.
The sound of happiness.
Happiness
Of people.
People who are happy.
Happy because
Of the news.
The news of me.

I started kicking.
Kicking with my legs.
Legs which
Are now developed.
Developed to run.
Run when
I play.
Play with my brothers.
Brothers who once
Stayed.
Stayed at the same place
Where I presently am.

Wait! Wait! I hear someone.
Someone is
My dad.
Dad is shouting.
Shouting at mom.
Mom is crying.
Crying for help.
Help
To save me.

It's my last talk.
Talk with you all.
All who
Are listening.
Listening to my plead.
Plead to
Save me.
Me who is gonna be killed.
Killed before I'm born.
Born to breath
The air.
Air in the world.
World who is cruel to me.
Me because I'm
A GIRL.
The girl who is unborn.
Unborn yet killed.
Killed
In the womb.
Womb of my mom.
"MOM"
This is what I wish
To call.
Call when I'm allowed to be born.

Let me tell you what the 'I' in the title of this poem means.

I=infanticide
Infanticide= to kill a fetus in the womb before it is born.
