LIANA had never been on public transport quite like the Knight bus. At first when Will had half heartedly suggested it to get them to Hogsmeade station, Liana had been thoroughly excited. She had heard the story of when Harry had boarded the Knight bus last year after blowing up his aunt Marge and it sounded exhilarating.

In fact, Liana had felt more than delighted to clamber aboard amongst the simple chatter with Stan Shunpike, the conductor with an awful lot of acne but a relatively nice sense of humour. However, once the bus had begun to head towards the station, out from the centre of Hogsmeade, Liana realised quite what they had gotten themselves into.

Around fifteen minutes into the trip her enthusiasm had died down quite a bit.

Will swayed in his seat, looking very green as the bus lurched forwards for the twenty fifth time that afternoon.

Liana had cast aside her chair, which had only pitched her off everytime they went over a bump in the road. Instead she was hanging onto the hand holds in the ceiling with all her might and had her legs firmly planted like tree trunks on the floor.

"So why are you lot going to the station aye? innit school time?" Asked Stan, completely at ease as he handed Will a paper bag, Will merely squeezed his eyes shut as the bus teetered on the edge of the pavement before zipping off again.

"That's the eventual destination," Liana told Stan, her knuckles turning white from the force she gripped the handles with.

"You wanna get there fast- from the rumours, I reckon something interesting is gonna happen this year," Stan winked knowingly at the pair.

"What do you mean?" Liana asked curiously, leaning towards Stan her brow furrowed.

Will just mumbled profanities under his breath and clamped his legs very tightly around the base of his seat as the bus went cheerfully sailing off a speed bump like a ship in a rocky sea.

"Never you mind little Miss Holly- You'll see when you get there, now step on it Ern!" Stan encouraged.

"Oh Merlin's beard and sweet nostrils, please don't let me die today," Will prayed as the bus picked up yet more speed and glided away at a highly unsafe rate into the dying sun.

WILL had never been more relieved to be standing on solid ground than he was when around ten minutes later, the pair toppled out of the doors of the bus, followed by their trunks and the backpack stuffed with stolen maps and books, that, despite their uselessness, Liana insisted on carrying with her.

"Good luck this year Little Miss and Mister," nodded Stan, and before Will could even look up from where he had collapsed on the ground, the bus was gone with a cackle of laughter from that dreadful shrunken head.
