I scramble through my closet trying to find something to wear.
"HAYLEY!" I yell
"WHAT?"
"come help me pick out what to wear"
"k"
I laugh at our silliness.
"Okay you wanna wear something that will get attention" she says.
"Hay, i don't wanna act desperate, i need to give it time. I just broke up with Luke"
"ugh fine"
We ended up choosing a baby blue dress that ends above mid-thigh. I put on concealer, mascara and little bit of highlighter.

"stoppp" i playfully whine as Hayden spams my phone with selfies.
We tackle each other on his bed and I finally get my phone back. I end up on top of him and I don't even realize it. His hands are on my back and I smile as I look through my pictures.
I realize i'm on top of him... and i'm wearing a dress.
I slide off and sit beside him. I already told him about the breakup and for some reason he wasn't shocked, maybe even... happy.
"I don't wanna go home" i say
" You live like next door" he says
"Yeah well i'm so f*cking tired"
He laughs and says, "slow down Leblanc"
We sit up and I look him in the eye, but no words come out. My breathing fastens, what's gonna happen, he leans in... but his hands slowly snake around my waist.
"hay..." I mumble.
"what?" he says. our faces only inches apart.
"i-" he cuts me off.
"shh..." he says and puts me on his lap. I want this so bad, but... i just can't. I sigh and get off the bed and grab my stuff.
"I'll see you later" I smile and kiss his cheek.
"bye" he mumble sadly.
"hayden... i can't-"
"I know... i know. i'm not going to force you into anything"
"please don't be sad though" i say and grab his hand
"you should get going" he mumbles while looking down
"yeah... bye" i say and leave his room

I run down the stairs and jump on the couch.
"Annie, change your clothes... it's nearly time for bed" mommy says.
I groan and go back upstairs, I get an oversized T-shirt... good enough.
I go to Hayley start using my phone.
"annie bananie" she randomly says.
"mmhm" i say while scrolling through instagram.
"have I ever told you that i love you"
I chuckle and say "yes"
I tuck her in bed and say, "goodnight"
"no... can't you sleep with me" she says and grabs my wrist.
I mean I would love to, but hayley is only 9 and sometimes has accidents, but i don't wanna make her sad.
"Okay fine" I say.
I lay on her bed and she climbs on top of me and lays her head on my chest.
"goodnight, i love you" I say. "night" she says and I peck her lips.
