Me - granny granny granny I laughed my granny a trip

I sat over her house because I missed them

Me - I gotta go foolie

Granny - bye child she shook her head laughing at my nickname I called her .

We joke a lot .

I hugged them and left out the house to the bus stop

Dee pulled up besides me

Dee - little girl I'm tired of having to come look for you

I shrugged and got in the car

Dee - here he tossed me an iPhone 8 and I looked at him confused

Dee - Dave got it for you .

I just nodded ok and began playing on my phone as he drove to Dave's  house .

Dee - I'm gone
I nodded and he drove off as I knocked on the door .

Dave came to the door in nothing but boxers .

I noticed a bulge and shook my head .

He look like he packing something down there .

Dave groaned when I heard her screaming and I looked up to his face

Dave - I can't get her to stop crying . Do something now he said irritated

I walked past his rude ass and grabbed my baby . She was on the floor .

She didn't squeal when she seen me and her eyes was puffy . It made my heart drop

Me - what's wrongggg baby

She pulled my baby onto her chest and rocked her .

Kharisma - what's wrong pretty girl she said into her ear and I watched as her crying ceased but picked back up

Kharisma - why her sad ? She frowned her face and I stared at her .

She was cute .

My baby been crying all morning and I don't know why .

Kiari - ma - ma she said and Kharisma didn't know what to say to that .

Kharisma - no Kay Kay

I walked off and put my head in my hands . Shits crazy .

Her real mother ain't shit . She a fucking crack head .

Don't get me wrong , once upon the time she was the love of my life but she changed .

She wasn't always a crack head .
I let Mia ass go when I found out what she was doing , out here bad .

When all the crying stopped I walked into her room to see her bathed and laying across her lap

Me - appreciate it mamas

Kharisma - no problem , her getting sick  she looked up and I seen she had bags under her eyes

Me - no sleep ?

Kharisma shook her head no as she laid her down

Me - you don't have to leave . You can sleep here I said remembering about Dee bringing up that white man

She shook her head no

Me - you sure ? I might need you later I knew that was gonna change her mind .

I watched her take off her shoes and get into the bed with Kiari that started to whine for her .

Her sleeping with her didn't bother me . It made me feel better knowing if she needed any anything she was right there .

Kharisma - thank you for the phone too Dave

Me - no problem mama . I just needed a way to contact you because that wasn't working

She nodded and I watched as her eyes started shutting before I got up and walked off .

I took a shower and decided to make something to eat

I jumped out my sleep when I smelled something burning .

Dave was in the kitchen
I face palmed myself

Me - what are you doing ?

Dave - trying to cook he said rudely

Me - chill .. rude I mumbled let me help

Dave - I got this little girl

Me - you wouldn't have suffocated me in my sleep if you did

I took his burnt food out the grease and set the pot of burnt grease to the side .

I looked and seen a pack of chicken . I decided to just go ahead and cook

When I was finished I made him a plate and sat it on the table so he could eat while I cleaned up .

I wasn't hungry .

He was silent as I did all of the dishes and when I looked back he was staring at the side of my face .

Dave - who taught you how to cook ?

Me - my moms

He nodded and got up , placing his dish in the sink .

Dave - I'm leaving

I nodded and he left .

I sat in the back as people chanted my name ..
Everything was just a blur when I stepped on stage and started performing

Paranoia got the best of me , I don't want nobody next to me .
