What time is it. I open up my scroll. Oh, it's 6:00. I sit up and look around the dorm. Everyone is still asleep. I step on the cold wood floor. Ahh... My body is still sore from yesterday. I decide to take a warm shower to relieve some pain.

I turn on the water and wait till it becomes my desired temperature. I begin to remove my clothes and after I hop in the shower. Mmm... Very relieving. Mabye I should take it easy next time. I wonder what Kamui meant yesterday. I just wanted to show Weiss she has nothing to fear. After I saw her worried face I just wanted to relieve it, so I proved my worth in being her rival. Maybe I should just ask Kamui what she meant.

"Hey boss you almost done."

"Yeah give me a minute."

______

"Yes! Yes, prior to the Faunus Rights Revolution--more popularly known as the Faunus War--humankind was quite, quite adamant about centralizing Faunus population in Menagerie." Our teacher says and points at said location. He then zooms behind his desk for a sip of his coffee and zips back in front of it. "Now! While this must feel like ancient history to many of you, it is imperative to remember that these are relatively recent events! Why, the repercussions of the uprising can still be seen to this day!" He zooms around the classroom more, sipping his coffee again before continuing to zoom and talk "Now! Have any among you been subjugated or discriminated because of your Faunus heritage?"

Some of the silhouetted students raise their hands. That bunny faunus from lunch, after a moment, does the same.

"Dreadful, simply dreadful! Remember, students, it is precisely this kind of ignorance that breeds violence!" He takes another sip of his coffee "I mean, I mean, I mean just look at what happened to White Fang! Now, which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorize to be the turning point in the third year of the War?" Weiss raises her hand "Yes?"

"The battle at Fort Castle!"

"Precisely! And, who can tell me the advantage the Faunus had over General Lagune's forces?"

  "Hey!" Jaune exclaims

The Professor zooms over to Jaune "Mr. Arc! Finally contributing to class! This is excellent! Excellent! What is the answer?"

Can't wait to hear this one.

"Uhhhh... The answer... The advantage... that the Faunus..." Jaune looks behind the Professor at Pyrrha who points to her lips. "...had over that guy's stuff..." He sees Pyrrha cup her hands around her eyes and goes for the most obvious answer which is of course "Uhh... Binoculars!"

You are hopless Jaune. The whole classroom laughs at Jaune. Cardin found it especially funny, as he chortles and poundes his fist on his desk. This catches the teacher's, Oobleck's, attention.

He zooms behind Cardin"Very funny, Mr. Arc! Cardin! Perhaps you would care to share your thoughts on the subject!"

"Well, I know it's a lot easier to train an animal than a soldier."

I really despise Cardin.

"You're not the most open-minded of individuals, are you, Cardin?" Pyrrha says.

"What? You got a problem? Cardin said

"No, I have the answer! It's night vision. Many Faunus are known to have nearly-perfect sight in the dark." Pyrrha says in an exhausted tone

Then Cardin, Ironically growls in anger.

"General Lagune was inexperienced, and made the mistake of trying to ambush the Faunus in their sleep. His massive army was outmatched, and the general was captured." Blake said then turning to Cardin "Perhaps if he'd paid attention in class, he wouldn't have been remembered as such a failure."

Cardin gets up from his seat, fist clenched and ready to do damage "Mr. Winchester! Please take your seat." Then when Jaune laughs at his tormentor's embarrassment, and Oobleck zooms to Jaune "You and Mr. Arc can both see me after class for additional readings." He takes another sip of coffee.

"Oohhhh..." Jaune said slumping his shoulders.

  "Now! Moving on!"

______

Classes ended and we head to our dorm. I plan on confronting Kamui about yesterday.

"Hey you both can continue to head back to the dorm I need to talk to Kamui."

"Sure. Just don't come back late again."

They start to walk off. I turn to face Kamui, who has her arms crossed.

"What did you mean yesterday."

"You really want to know."

"YES!"

"You're in love with Weiss."

"W-what. NO, Way."

"You just wanted to know what I meant. Not how I know"

She begins walking to the room.

I am not in love with Weiss she is my rival. I can't be. There's no way that can be.

Right...
