After the whole Q&A game with Hannah, I again did my best to avoid her. She just made me nervous and something else I wasn't quite sure of.  I don't think I spent that much time talking to someone before other than my family members or Jane.   One of the best things about Hannah being a model was that she was out of the apartment quite frequently. Recently she had a photo shoot in Milan, so she was gone for days. I started to like this situation a lot until one evening, I came out of my room and I saw her. I didn't know when she came back, but I freaked out. Her hair was dripping wet and all that covered her was a white towel. She must have just gotten out of the shower.

"Oh, hi Cara." She waved at me when she saw me.

I quickly stepped back into my room and closed the door behind me. Don't freak out, don't freak out. I'm known to be prudish, but it was not my fault that I believed that people should be fully clothed. I let out a deep breath before I sent a text to Jane. I'm so glad that she was the type to respond quickly. She was basically glued to her cell phone.

ME: She was in a towel.

Jane: Who? Hannah?

Me: Yes!

Jane: So?

Me: That's not appropriate!

Jane: I don't see what the issue is. You're both girls.

Me: I don't want to see that.

Jane: Consider yourself lucky because other people would.

"Ugh." I threw my phone on my bed as l ran my hand through my hair.

A small knock was heard at my door and I watched it with bated breath. I hope she would leave.

"Cara, are you alright?"

I wonder if she would leave if I didn't respond?

"I'm sorry if I freaked you out earlier. I should have told you when I coming back," Hannah said.

I slowly approached the door. Hopefully, she would be dressed. I took a deep breath before I opened the door. To my relief, she was dressed in a t-shirt and shorts. "That would have been helpful if you did. So when did you come back?" I had the door slightly open so that it would create a buffer between Hannah and me.

"A couple of hours ago." Even with damp hair and no makeup on, she still looked aesthetically beautiful. Life was not fair at all. I glanced at my own clothes which were similar to her and I knew I did not look as decent in them like her. I shuffled my feet so that I could hide behind the door even more.

"Oh okay." I don't know why she was talking to me and how long it was going to be before she left? "You're not tired?"

"No, I slept a little on the plane and after taking a shower, I don't feel tired anymore."

I just nodded and I looked passed her and stared at the kitchen. When was this conversation going to end?

She followed my eyes. "Did you eat yet?"

"...No." I wasn't staring at the kitchen because I was hungry. I was staring at the kitchen because I didn't want to look at her. Looking someone in the eyes was uncomfortable for me. It felt way too personal.

"I was going to make some food, do you want to help?"

"Sure." I have to make sure the kitchen doesn't get dirty. I was about to step out before I saw my leg and quickly stepped back. "I'm going to change first."
