If I'm honest with you, I get more excited by votes than reads. When I woke up on day 16 I had two fresh sets of votes on every chapter from two new people. To me that was exciting. Posting another chapter, I logged out and went about my day at school, barely thinking about it at all.
So imagine my surprise when I get home and see that I have 759 reads. I also now had 95 votes, and increase of about 20 in one day because of these new readers. I didn't even know how to register this part. Things were gathering momentum without me even touching it.
Statistics at the end of day sixteen:
768 reads
113 followers
Lesson learnt: Sometimes fate will make people read your book.
(I should probably say at this point that I was only following 118 people.)
