The walk to Levi's house seemed rather extensive. Your hands were sweaty from being clenched into tight fists, and your palms were sore from the sharp digging of your nails into the flesh there.

You were rather on edge. Usually Levi would be there to walk you home.

And that wasn't to say you couldn't walk home (or anywhere) without Levi---you were perfectly capable of doing so yourself. But with your 'unknown' stalker on the loose, you'd grown quite hesitant to walk alone---especially without Levi (or perhaps even Hanji).

You felt safest when with him.

And in speaking of the raven-haired boy, you were beginning to grow the slightest bit nervous. While you knew Levi was capable of dealing with his frustration, you feared he was too deep in his emotions, and was just about ready to shut you out.

Of course, you'd never let things escalate that far; but the possibility riled you. You'd called him five times, left three voicemails, and sent over six texts; all of which he hadn't replied to.

It was no wonder you were worried.

You frowned as the creak of the front door echoed through the large, hollow house that belonged to the Ackerman family. You sighed upon closing the door, knowing immediately that you were in a place that you recognized---a place that you called home.

"Levi?" you called out loudly, your voice bouncing off the walls of the main hallway that extended past the grand staircase leading up to the second floor. You rested a hand on the polished, wooden rail of the staircase, gripping it tightly in hopes that Levi would magically appear.

"Levi?" you called once more after failing to hear a reply. You sighed deeply, beginning to tread slowly up the stairs, checking each room for Levi's person.

"I skipped a class for this, jerk," you called, standing just outside the closed door of Levi's room as you gripped the doorknob with such intensity. "So, you better be in here!"

Your defeated expression was enough said. You let out a heavy sigh before locking the front door behind you, and angrily stashing your keys into the left pant pocket of your denim jeans. You walked through the sudden downpour of rain; finding the weather rather in correspondence with your emotions.

'Where on Earth could he possibly be?' you wondered silently, kicking a stray piece of gravel forward; its direction in-sync with your own. 'He couldn't possibly be that upset...could he?' You could understand why Levi was frustrated; you were also quite frustrated yourself, earlier.

Oluo had said a few things to offend you in gym class, and while Levi was quick to defend you, you hadn't wanted to cause a scene and told Levi that it was okay; that he didn't have to say anything.

But it wasn't. It wasn't okay. And Levi knew that it wasn't but was so frustrated that he couldn't do anything about it. You suddenly frowned as you stopped at the bus stop, sitting on the bench of the bus shelter while you pended for the vehicle's arrival. You stared forward, blankly; watching as the rain fell and pattered against the pavement.

"What if this is all my fault?" you suddenly spoke, your heart sinking at the realization. You knew it wasn't true---none of this was your fault. But you currently weren't in your right state of mind.

'Perhaps I should have just left Levi alone?' you contemplated, gnawing anxiously at your bottom lip. 'Maybe if I had just dropped the pacifist role, things would've been much better. Levi would've been with me...'
