(Just a quick note: One character has a panic attack in this chapter. I described it like how mine are, but everyone's  are different, so don't yell at me please!)

It was quiet until Chase's phone started ringing. He looked at it, then answered reluctantly. His friends looked at him curiously. He put the phone to his ear cautiously.

"H-hey Stacy." Instinctively his friends looked away. They all knew how heated the arguments Chase and his wife had could get. Chase noticed that Stacy didn't start yelling right away, which wasn't normal. Instead, she sounded worried.

"Chase, where are you?" Chase hesitated.

"I'm... at work. Why?" He heard sobs coming from the other side of the phone.

"The kids... they're missing." Chase's breath hitched.

"Stacy, calm down. What do you know about them? Anything?" She was crying, and Chase wondered if she had even heard him.

"Chase... there was a note. I-it was signed by someone... I can't remember." Chase froze.

"Was the name Anti?" She didn't answer right away.

"Yes. Yes, it was. How did you..." She trailed off. Chase was certain he knew what was going on, but it didn't make any sense.

"Tell me what it said. I might be able to find them." He heard Stacy take a deep breath.

"It's a message to you. It says that you should have been more careful, and it was easy to catch you off guard. And if you want them back, you have to do what they say." Chase almost dropped the phone.

"I-I have to go. Don't worry, he won't hurt the children. I'll keep them safe, okay?" Stacy called out his name, but he had already hung up.

He sat down hard. His friends saw that something was wrong and ran over to him. When they asked him what was wrong, they sounded like they were a mile away. His vision blurred, and he couldn't breathe. He couldn't form words.

Then he felt a warm, comforting hand on his shoulder, and he could see again and breathe right. Doctor Schneeplestein was looking into his eyes. He looked Chase over.

"He'll be okay. Panic attack. Shock. Chase, can you tell us what happened? You haven't had a Panic attack in a long time." Chase looked around frantically, hoping desperately his children would appear.

"He took them." He looked at his friends, in too much shock to cry.

"He kidnapped my children."
