Chapter 50

Maya's pov

I woke up and it was 10 am I must of slept in. Esther wants to throw a ball which is fine but something is off about Esther I don't know what but something is up. Rebekah is probably getting ready already. I got up and had a shower and looked what to wear.

I wore blue short shorts and a grey top which just bout covered my body. I put a black jacket over because it was cold. I let my hair just stay as it is which is basically just wavy and I put light make up on. Its such a good thing I'm not showing yet.

I went downstairs where Nik wasn't there but everybody else was. Rbekeha took one glance at me and glared.

" why aren't you ready yet" rebekah asked

" because the ball isn't for another 10 hours beks" I told her and sat beside her

" there's a lot to be done we need to pick out your dress which could take hours and we need to figure out how to hide your bump." rebekah said and I looked at my body in the mirror

" I don't have a bump. Do I?" I asked her

" yes." she said

" girl be quiet will you " kol said to me as he gazed at himself in the mirror

" boy go through puberty will you " I glared at him and he glared back and then it turned into a smile " I can see why my brother likes you quite fietsy little thing aren't you "

" kol leave maya alone" elijah ordered him calmly.

" I will but if she ever breaks up with Nik" he was saying and then I cut him off

" you'd be the last person I call" I smiled at him and he went off to his mirror

" do you know what your going to say to your brothers about your pregnancy" elijah asked I got a blood bag from the fridge

" nope" I said as I sat down next to bekah drinking my blood bag " I don't even know how to begin telling them"

" you have to tell them at this ball. Let me do your nails" rebekah said and painted my nails blue.

" rebekah is right you should tell them. the longer you don't tell them your secret the more your family is breaking" elijah told me

" what bout if you..." kol was saying then I cut him off

" shhhhh grown ups are talking sweetie" I turned around to him

" darling you know I could rip your sharp tongue out don't you" kol smiled at the thought

" I snapped your neck last night I think I'm safe" I smiled at him and I saw finn smiling for shutting him up

" rebekah tell me how handsome I am" kol smiled at himself in the mirror.

" oh kol you know I can't be compelled" rebekah jokes and everybody smiled at her humour

" you went after elena what is wrong with you?" Nik came in angry

" here we go" rebekah muttered smiling

" do you want another dagger in your heart" Nik threatened

" again with the dagger threats dont you have any other tricks up your sleeve" kol said sitting in a chair

" oh go back to staring at yourself" Nik hissed at kol

" and who are you my father" lol asked with a hint of sarcasm in his voice

" no kol but your in my house." Nik hissed at him
