me: so after my student left, i turned around and asked them "how fake the relationship seemed on a scale of 1-10, i am hoping for at least a 7"

me: and then they freaked out and apologized but i don't understand why they did

I'm currently in my car driving down to her apartment to pick her up. I nervously tapped my fingers against the steering wheel as I thought about what was going to happen tonight. I don't know how I should act, I've never met someone's parents like this before. I've met my hyung's parents but it's not the same. This meeting could potentially determine my future because who would let their daughter marry someone they don't like.
