Chapter 28: Finally

"What's wrong Renae?"

I looked at Rebecca, I didnt want to tell her, that would be embarrasing

But she waited and comforted me as I cried so I owed it to her

"I can't get over your brother, no matter how hard I try, no matter how mad I get at him, I still want him, I still like him, and now he is all stressed out because of me, have you seen him Rebecca?" I choked out

She sighed deeply, it must be weird that im talking about her brother.

"Hey, you really like him ,I can tell, so you wont get over him that fast, and I say give him a chance, he really needs you as you can tell." she said rubbing my back

She was right, but did I really want this on and off thing?

"But I dont want to keep doing this, were acting like little kids not adults, with this hiding things from one another and stuff"

"Well fix it, talk about it, I mean thats what I would do if I was in a relationship"

I wiped my face

"Yeah...Im going to go talk to him right now, thank you Rebecca"

She put her hand on my shoulder

"Wait, talk to him when you feel like your ready, cant be rushimg into things"

I gave a reassuring smile "Thanks. But im ready"

I got out the car and went back in the house

I heard Liana and Marcus in the kitchen, I couldve sworn I had heard my name, but Im not the type to eavesdrop so I went upstairs

Liam was rocking Leah, and put her down in her crib, she must've woken up when I left

He turned around and jumped a little

I laughed

"Oh shoot, damn Renae, you trying to scare me?" he said with that signature smile

No Liam your trying to kill me with that smile

"Uhh, no, I-I actually came to talk" I said looking down

He came closer "About?"

I looked at him, he really wanted me to say it didnt he?

"Us" I coughed out

"Oh....so let's go somewhere, where there is not as much people, you know?"

We headed to the backyard, there were some tables and chairs

We sat down

"So....um what is it" Liam said

"Yeah, about that, Im just going to say it,.......Liam, IlikeyouandIknow-"

"Wait, Renae, pause, talk slower" He imterrupted, understanding my struggle

I took a deep breath

"Okay, Liam, I like you I really do, but I dont like our childish acts, talking one minute arguing the next, and I was really dissapointed when you didnt tell me about your amazing daughter"

Liam looked down

"I really want, you know, us to happen"

He looked up at me

"The reason that I didnt tell you about Leah was because I was afraid you would leave me, you are the first girl I really wanted to be with, and if I told you, you would freak and leave me" He looked down again

I lifted his face to me, I could tell he was surprised by my actions

"I wouldve be really really surprised, but I would never leave you, I see how much you love her...but I wouldnt know what to do about....Saura"

It felt so wrong bringing her in the situation, especially since she was dead

"Yeah...we just had the funeral actually, Leah didnt go, but she asks for her so many times, b-but I cant tell her Renae I cant" He turned away, and I knew immediately he was crying

I came to him and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and cried into my shirt. I could feel his tears since it was a crop top.

I laid my head on his head, kissed him, assuring it was going to be okay

After a while he stopped,I sat back down, he turned to me

"So yeah...I want to try again with you Renae,but in a different way now.... would you like to be my girlfriend?"

Woah...I was not expecting that. Especially right here and right now but that is what I wanted, a relationship

He talked before I could answer

"I never planned to ask you like this of course, but I couldnt wait"

I laughed

"Duh, of course, its about time"

His eyes shot up

"You said yes?"

"Yes" I said giggling

He lifted me up and twirled me

"Calm down Liam, we aren't getting married"

"I dont care, but Renae Carson is my girlfriend" he yelled

"Shhh" I said, my face burning

He grabbed my face and kissed me over and over again

I loved his lips

"I can finally kiss you freely"

Oh my gosh this guy

I was giving him one long kiss, like Im talking movie scene sloppy kiss when I heard a voice

"Ewww, what are you guys doing? go get a room!" Xander said with a stank face

I pushed Liam, away. I was so embarrassed.

"Oh my gosh,Xander, you did not see a thing" I said laughing nervously

"Uhh yes I did, but I wont tell anyome because I like you Renae" He said smiling

Then he left

I loved him so much

Liam pulled me by the waist
"lets go inside and tell the others"

"yeah..." I said, then I kissed him once more on his full lips

I was finally in a realtionship, and I pray this one will last.
