Izuku finished scribbling out the last of his paperwork for the latest Oni fight, getting up from his desk with a stretch before stepping across the classroom and tilting his head down at his teacher, who was wrapped up in his yellow sleeping bag and dozing in a corner. The man cracked open a bloodshot eye to peer up at the disturbance, grumbling unhappily for a moment before extracting an arm from within the bag and snatching the sheets of paperwork. He closed his eyes again and snuggled down further, clearly intending to go right back to sleep in place despite the school day being over. Izuku twisted on one foot towards the door before suddenly halting and turning back with a quizzical expression.

"Sens-"

"What you're about to say better be of great importance, Problem Child," Aizawa muttered, letting out an irritated huff of air as he sat up a little straighter within his cocoon.

"W-well, not really," Izuku mumbled with a bashful grin, "I was just going to go spar with Shouto-kun, Shinsou-kun, and Tenya-kun, and I was wondering if you'd like to watch."

"Absolutely not. Go away – I want to sleep." The man somehow managed to zip his sleeping bag up further, hiding everything but his closed eyes.

Izuku pouted slightly and crouched down in front of him. "Don't you want to see how well your son is progressing?"

"Shinsou is not my son," he grumbled lowly, muffled by the fabric over his mouth.

"And yet you knew who I was talking about," the boy shot back with a sly smile.

"You spend too much time with Todoroki," Aizawa sighed, squinting up through a curtain of black hair for the sake of glaring at the kid.

"That's generally the point of friends, sensei," Izuku retorted drily, stifling a laugh at the raised eyebrows he got in response.

"I'm not moving," he said with finality, wriggling to get more comfortable before returning to his dozing attempts.

"...alright."

There was a pause as the boy glanced over the sleeping bag, reaching out his hand to grab at some of the excess fabric before standing up and starting to walk while dragging the teacher behind him. The displeased mumbles and wiggles ceased as they emerged into the corridor, and Aizawa seemed to understand that he wasn't getting out of this any time soon. Izuku practically pranced along with a bounce to his step, offering nonchalant waves and smiles at wayward students they passed in the halls, most of whom probably thought he was lugging a dead body halfway across the campus. The thought alone was enough to make the boy giggle, much to the alarm of a second-year who had the misfortune of crossing paths with the other student.

It didn't take long for them to arrive at the gym. Three boys were already warming up inside and greeted the newcomer, only to blink in confusion at the unexpected yellow addition. Izuku gave no explanation and instead propped Aizawa up against the closest wall before dashing off to the lockers and grabbing some workout clothes to change into. He took a few minutes to pull on the shorts and t-shirt, lacing up his trainers and filling his water bottle, humming to himself as he wandered back into the gym, greeted with the sight of his teacher half-emerged from his chrysalis and conversing quietly with Shinsou.
