Stay With Me: Hogwarts Rewritten

Part 3

"Magic?" I ask again

"Yes. Magic. I just spent the last hour explaining this to the both of you. You and Hermione are magical beings. Your parents were both wizards, rather great ones. Hermione you are a muggleborn, being as neither of your parents are wizards, and Harry you're a half-blood since only your father was a pureblood and your mother was a muggleborn. You two have been accepted into the best magic institution in the world" Minerva explains once again

It was the third time i asked her, but i just didn't understand? My parents died trying to protect me from the dark lord which makes me famous because I'm the only one to survive him. Every strange thing that has happened is because I'm a wizard. This was a little hard to believe.

"So what do we do now? I mean....Harry and I go to public school? And we know nothing of Hogwarts or where to get all this stuff" Hermione asks looking at the letters

"I will send someone tomorrow morning to take you to get your supplies. As for you Harry, your aunt and uncle should know...." She starts to say

"No! They have treated me terribly my whole life. I wish to never see them again" I tell her not letting her finish

"Harry is staying with us. His family is terrible, they can't know he is here" Emma says

"Alright. Well i understand how confusing it is to grow up muggles and figure out your wizards. Hagrid, our grounds keeper will come get you tomorrow morning and bring you to diagon alley"

Hermione and i both gasped, a book just appeared out of nowhere.

"This has everything you need to know, including spells and a basic history. I present Hogwarts A History" She explains placing the book on the table

Hermione was sure going to enjoy reading that.

"I shall leave you both to read that, since I must be going. School starts in a month and i still need to prepare. Hagrid will explain everything else to you, and take you to the platform on your first day. I will see you two at Hogwarts" She says grabbing her wand and waving it, in a flash she disappeared

"Oh my god! Harry we're wizards! This explains how the glass disappeared and your scar....but Harry? I'm terribly sorry about your parents"

I just found out my parents were murdered. The Dursley's told me they died in a car crash. I don't know how to feel about any if this, but i felt saddened finding out the truth.

"It's alright. How about you and i go upstairs and start reading this book. We have a month to finish it" I suggested wanting to forget about it all

Hermione grabbed the large book and began walking up the stairs with it. I followed her upstairs eagerly, i really wanted to know more about magic.

"I still don't understand? I mean....magic? This sounds like a doctor who episode"

"Yes Harry. This explains why the glass disappeared and why you can talk to snakes" Hermione exclaims

"What about you?"

"Well last year.....i made my book float. I never told you because i didn't want you to think i was crazy. I got upset at my mum and it just happened" She explains

"Wow....so we really have magic. We might as well start reading" I told her opening the book

We laid out on the floor and looked over the pages. It was a large book so we couldn't get to most of it. It was absolutely fascinating learning about the founders of Hogwarts and magic. There was so many spells to learn.

After a few hours, Hermione reminded me that we needed to get up tomorrow morning.
