We ran towards the lab, the light were flickering on and off.

" Why is everyone so mad at me?" dad asked me while we were running. Was he serious?

" You created an A.I. without telling us dad!" I yelled at him.

When we entered the lab it was back to normal, he was gone. We started checking the computers.

" All our work is gone. Ultron cleared out, used the internet as an escape hatch." Bruce told everyone.

Nat looked up from the screen " He's been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other." That sounded pretty scary, not for me, they knew practically everything about me, but for the rest of them.

Rhodey shook his head " He's in your files, he's in the internet. What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?"

" Nuclear codes." Maria said. Now that was scary.

" Nuclear codes. Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can." Rhodey said.

" Can he really do that?" I asked Bruce scared. He just nodded. What the hell did he and my dad create?

" Nukes? He said he wanted us dead." Nat said.

" He didn't say dead. He said extinct." Steve said after that.

" That's pretty much the same Steve." I told him.

Clint still looked confused " He also said he killed somebody."

" But there wasn't anyone else in the building." Maria said a but confused.

I got the card for JARVIS and said " Yes there was." I brought up the 3D image of JARVIS' conciousness, it was destroyed.

I kept looking at it, all dad's hard work, destroyed. It was pretty sad considering he had based him on my grandad's assistant.

" This is insane." Bruce sighed.

" JARVIS was the first line of defense. He would've shut Ultron down, it makes sense." Steve explained.

" No, Ultron could've assimilated Jarvis. This isn't strategy, this is...rage." Bruce told him. How could an A.I. be angry?

Suddenly Thor walked in and grabbed dad by his throat and held him up.

" Woah, woah, woah! It's going around." Clint said, but didn't do anything to help dad.

" Hey hey big guy, put him down." I said, trying not to get angry.

" Come on. Use your words, buddy." Dad tried.

" I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark." Thor growled.

" Thor! The Legionnaire." Steve said.

He let go of my dad. " Trail went cold about a hundred miles out but it's headed north, and it has the scepter." Thor said " Now we have to retrieve it, again."

I decided to look through the computers again. I was still following the conversation though. It was pretty intense. I just wanted to make sure he didn't delete any of my new suit modifications I had been working on, luckily he hadn't.

- Natasha: The genie's out of that bottle. Clear and present is Ultron.

- Dr. Helen: I don't understand. You built this program. Why is it trying to kill us?

Dad started laughing. He shouldn't have done that, it pissed off Thor even more.

- Thor: You think this is funny?

- Dad: No. It's probably not, right? Is this very terrible? Is it so...is it so...it is. It's so terrible.

- Thor: This could've been avoided if you hadn't played with something you don't understand.

- Dad: No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It is funny. It's a hoot that you don't get why we need this.

" It's NOT funny dad." I said, eyes still on the screen. I was trying to track where Ultron had gone, without any  succes though.

- Bruce Banner: Tony, maybe this might not be the time to...

- Dad: Really?! That's it? You just roll over, show your belly, every time somebody snarls.

- Bruce: Only when I've created a murder bot.

- Dad: We didn't. We weren't even close. Were we close to an interface?

- Steve: Well, you did something right. And you did it right here. The Avengers were supposed to be different than SHIELD.

- Dad: Anybody remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole?

" No, it's never come up." I said, annoyed about him always using that as an excuse.

- Dad: Saved New York?

- Rhodey: Never heard that.

- Dad: Recall that? A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. We're standing three hundred feet below it. We're the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the live long day, but, that up there? That's...that's the end game. How were you guys planning on beating that?

He had a point there, ever since I had seen that vision in Sokovia I understood what he had on his mind all the time.

- Steve: Together.

- Dad: We'll lose.

- Steve: Then we'll do that together, too. Thor's right. Ultron's calling us out. And I'd like to find him before he's ready for us. The world's a big place. Let's start making it smaller.

We all started working on finding him.

" Are you mad at me?" dad asked while we were working.

" No not mad." I said " Just dissapointed."

" Oh I get why I use that now, it's so much worse." He sighed.

I gave him a small smile. " Dad, I know you tried to do good." I told him while typing away " Ever since I saw that throneroom I get what you're going through. You tried to help. It just turned out really bad."

He put a hand on my shoulder. " Don't worry dad, when the time is finally there, we will be ready." I told him. He squeesed my shoulder, meaning thank you.

Maybe I should have told him about the big figure in the corner of the throne room. About the golden armour and the deep unsettling voice. But I didn't want to freak him out any more.
