Have you ever thought
What I feel like
When you say that you
Want to die.
That you can't take
This pain anymore and you
Want to be free.

Whenever you hug
Me and sobs,
I feel that my heart is
Aching seeing
You like this.
Every drop of tear falling
From your eyes
Hurt me deep inside.
It's like my soul
Is breaking into pieces
With every tear
Of yours.

You always talked
About her.
The one that left you
Without even thinking for once.
She moved on in
Her life way
Too fast and here
You are crying in my arms
For her.

Why don't you understand
That she was not
For you.
You deserve much better
Than her.
The one that is
Made for you.
The one that will understands
You even without
You uttering a word.

I remember how you
Was before.
A happy soul.
We met as strangers
And went to that bridge at night.
You sang me a song
And asked it's meaning behind.
I ignored you then,
But now I completely understand
Every single verse of it.

We became friends
That day.
I was happy but then,
You found her.
You always talked about her.
The way she was.
The way she made you happy.
I listen to you as
A friend that time.
But now, I'm sorry to tell
That if you have
Told me about her today,
I would have killed you both
In my way.

You started dreaming
To be with her
Always,
But what she did...
She left you alone to suffer.
Since then you
Cry day and night.
You hurt yourself both
Mentally and physically.

It was Diwali and
You didn't want to celebrate it,
As you said, that
The light of your life
Went away pushing you into
Darkness.
Why don't you understand
That she was
Only a flame,
The entire candle was
Someone else.

I pushed you to a limit
That you agreed
To celebrate it with me.
While lighting the diwas,
We became
Besties.

Slowly we started opening
And sharing
Our feelings,
But still you only
Talk about is
Her.

I see you cry day in
And day out
Just because of her.
I can't take it anymore.
I can't let you
Suffer alone.
The heart that once was
Broken,
Started beating again.
Now I want to
Confess that,
I'm falling for you
And that song is on my
Repeated loop.
