     POV-Third Person:

Sorae had just gotten back to the office that Hagire and (Y/n)'s father were in. She couldn't help but feel sickened as she looked at the two men, who were cackling about previous fights like two old alumni. As she entered the room, it took much of her energy to suppress the scowl she had.

     Hagire: Welcome back.

     Dad: How'd it go?

Sorae: They seemed to get along well. Shiro was thrilled to meet new people, even if she did overreact a bit and tackle them to the floor.

She couldn't help but smile as she said this.

Hagire: Good, having Shiro have a bond with someone her own age could be very useful. For future reference anyway.

Sorae: You can't seriously be thinking about their breeding potential already. They're both nine.

Hagire: It's never too early to prepare for the future. Last time two powerful beings bred we got Mr Tybur here!

The large, muscular man chuckled.

Dad: Far different circumstances Hagire.

Hagire: In any case, I meant to ask you; how's Owl?

Dad: "Owl" is on the run, in hiding. But he can't run and hide from me forever.

The two men jokingly laughed as Sorae sighed.

Sorae: Can you blame him? You savagely hunted down and subjugated six of his close friends! All for your former employer.

Dad: Yeah yeah spare me the lecture, you sound like my wife. Which reminds me; please call her and tell her everything is fine. She was hesitant to let me bring him today.

As he said this; he removed his jacket which exposed his neck. Hagire reached up with an empty syringe and drew blood from the man's nape, directly from his spine. Hagire then handed the syringe to Sorae.

Hagire: Also please inject the boy with this. It should get the process started. Remember though, right into the nape.

Sorae took the syringe and looked at it for a moment in shock.

Sorae: You can't be serious.

Dad: I'm dead serious. If (Y/n) is going to inherit my quirk; my blood must be injected into him to begin the process of passing it down. I got the power when I was nine, and thanks to your and Hagire's experimentation; gave me a temporary immunity to the curse that comes with it. Unfortunately, the curse is starting to catch up with me.

Hagire: Oh shit, how so?

Dad: I can feel my early memories fading and my body rotting, at least on the inside.

Hagire: That's unfortunate. You're my finest specimen of the "Prolonged Mortality and Immunity Project".

Dad: And you have helped me out a great deal friend, but I would rather die while still strong than rot as some decaying corpse begging for death. (Y/n) will provide as an excellent replacement.

Sorae: What?! Did you ever think to ask or even tell (Y/n) about any of this?!

Dad: Hell no. He wouldn't understand, it's far better for him to have the power then it die with me and randomly choose someone else.

Sorae: What about (Y/n)'s Mom?! You didn't think to tell her that you both plan to use him as a replacement?!!?

Hagire: No no no we're in this little project together Sorae, you contributed to the landfill of corpses from failed test subjects as much as Tyber, myself, or any other researcher in this facility! Or do we need to make another visit to Amenotori?
