Honor Band Audition

(Not classify state or anything.)

I had an audition today at 2:18 pm eastern time.
They were ahead of schedule.

So I did the scales good but then

The audition piece was okay

But MY REED WOULDN'T LET ME PLAY HIGH NOTES!

Then came the sight reading.

It was written on paper.

Which if some writes it on paper it's hard for me to play.

I missed a one or two notes but I did fine.

I find out on December 3rd........

I'm stressed but relived.

I would be surprise if I got first chair oboe which I don't want.

If I got in, I would be surprised.

If I got second chair, I would be surprised.

Just the point here is this

Don't audition unless it's only you and one other person in the room.

Also think before you do and practice.
