Gabriel

I let out a sigh as I started to cut up some fruit and put it in a bowl. I heard the door open and smiled as my little sister walked into the room.

"So want to talk about it?" She asked as she leaned against the counter.

"No." I said as I turned and grabbed some hamburger meat.

"I had been two weeks. (Y/n) you need to talk about it." (S/n) said softly.

"I'm fine! Okay I am fine! I am over Gabriel! I don't even want to talk about him! Can we drop it?" I asked angrily.

She let out a sigh and nodded her head before she walked away. I dropped my knife on the counter and let out a sigh. Two weeks ago the love of my life, Gabriel a archangel, broke up with me for no reason.

I smiled as I laid beside Gabriel on the couch and we watched Tv.

"Oh I love this part." He said as he let out a laugh.

"Shhh!!! I haven't seen this." I said with a smile.

He squeezed my hand and I smiled as I turned my head and pecked his lips. I laid my head back on his chest and smiled as I fell asleep. When I woke up Gabriel was pacing back and forth.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I stood up.

"I... I don't know if I can do this anymore." He said sadly.

"Do what?" I asked confused.

"Us..... I want to break up with you."

"Oh..... I see.... is there a reason behind it?"

"Yes, but I can't tell you. I'm sorry..... I just.... I can't do this anymore." He said as he looked away.

"I understand....... goodbye." I said as I turned and grabbed my jacket.

I walked out of the room and felt tears stream down my face as I walked out of his apartment.

I opened my eyes and let out a sigh as I went back to cooking. After I finished cooking, I set the table and smiled as I set down with (S/n) and we ate.

"So, I was thinking we could go and have a shopping spree tomorrow." She said softly.

"I have work."

"You need to live. I mean before you and the devil broke u-"

"The devil is his brother." I said with a laugh.

"Alright, before you and the devil's brother broke up you went out all the time and now.... you go to work and then home. You need to live again."

I let out a sigh and put my fork down.

"Alright, we can go shopping tomorrow." I said softly.

I picked my plate up and let out a sigh as I put it in the sink and shook my head. I heard my phone go off and walked over to it and picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked calmly.

"Hello Miss. (L/n). This is your doctor. I have news about your test results."

I looked at the picture on my counter and I felt a small smile appear on my face.

Gabriel let out a laugh as he hugged me. I smiled as I held onto him.

"So I was thinking that we should go out and get ice cream." He said with a smile.

"Let's go, and we can get dinner before." I said with a smile.

We soon left and after dinner we got ice cream.

"Oh look at the happy couple! Let's have a big smile." A man said as he held a camera.

I smiled as I wrapped my arms around Gabriel's neck and looked at the man. He took a picture of us and gave it to me. I smiled as held the picture and then leaned up and kissed Gabriel.

"I love you." Gabriel whispered.

"I love you more." I said softly.

"Are you still there?" The doctor asked.

"Yes! Sorry I was lost in thought. What did the results say?"

"Congratulations you are three weeks pregnant."

I froze up as I moved my hand to my mouth.

"Are you sure?" I asked as I moved my hand.

"Yes, every test said it."

"Thank you." I said as I hung up.

"Everything alright?" (S/n) asked as she walked into the room.

"I'm pregnant." I said as I leaned against the counter.

She looked at me shocked and I let out a sigh. I felt tears stream down my face and she walked up to me and hugged me.

"It will be alright." She said softly.

"I..... I don't know if I.... (S/n) no one can survive giving birth to a Nephilim...... I won't survive." I said as tears streamed down my face.

She hugged me tighter and I cried into her shoulder. As the months past it started to become harder for me.

"Sis.... maybe you should call him.... maybe he can save you."

"No.... if I die, promise me you won't let Gabriel know about the baby.... promise me!"

"I promise." She said through tears.

I let out a sigh as I shook my head. I laid on my bed and I let out a sigh as I read a book. I heard a knock on my door and frowned as I stood up and when to the front door. I opened the door and felt my eyes go wide as I saw who was in front of me.

"Gabriel? What are you doing here?" I asked shocked.

"(S/n) called me. Why didn't you tell me you where pregnant?" He asked angrily.

"Because we aren't together and it shouldn't matter."

"You are going to die! How will that help anyone?" He asked angrily.

"Because I won't lose my baby! I can't." I said sadly.

"And I can't lose you.... do you know how much it hurt, when I broke up with you? I left you so Lucifer wouldn't kill you! And now you may die because of me."

"If I die..... know that I died protecting our child.... and I'm fine with it." I said softly.

"I don't want to lose you again."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and felt tears stream down my face as I hugged him.

Time skip

A few months later it was my due date and I went into labor. I smiled as I laid on my bed and squeezed Gabriel's hand.

"I love you..... promise me you will protect her." I said softly.

"I swear." He whispered.

Two hours later I gave my final push and I felt everything go dark as I heard a baby screaming.
