we met at a library, before the book signing and didn't realise.
i was working there in summer as a volunteer when you came over, looking for a book you really wanted and i remember the curiosity in your glossy, dismal eyes and the smile on your lips.
you thanked me when finding your book.
a book on poetry called the universe of us.
