In the past two weeks, Honeymoon has broken several world records, putting Molly at the top of any headline for the best artist of this generation.
Yesterday, we had the privilege of interviewing Molly Rose about album-making process and the story behind her songs. Here is what she had to say:
"In just two years, you've managed to become the artist of this generation. How does that make you feel?" Jake White starts.
"Thank you for saying that. It really means a lot." She smiles. "But I still have a long way to go." She says humbly, shaking her head. "There are so many great artists out there that have inspired me and my music and I have to much to learn from me. So I feel so incredibly honored and I feel guilty for taking that title because there are so many great artists."
Jake White laughs, proceeding to the question. "You're so modest." He looks up from his script. "But speaking about people who have inspired your music, could you please talk about the person who inspired Honeymoon."
Molly Rose bites her lip as she tries to hide the blush creeping on to her cheeks and the smile that grows wider and wider.
