Natasha was beside herself with excitement.

As your best friend, she knew every single one of your deepest, darkest secrets-including your feelings for a particular God of Thunder. The master of hiding your true emotions, your poker face was something even Natasha couldn't get past sometimes and it was helpful when around the others.

You were a soldier, coming from the same unit as Sam, and you helped a lot in the search for Bucky. Tracking was your thing. Even though he and Sam weren't the best of friends, they learned to trust each other and soon, you and Sam were a part of the Avengers as much as Steve was. When you first met the rest of team, you were shocked into silence and even your poker face couldn't save you.

Especially around Thor.

"Come on, Y/N, just tell him. I'm pretty sure he feels the same way." Natasha said urgently.

You shook your head as she continued to braid your long, H/C hair. The both of you were relaxing in your room after a short mission and Nat had been trying to convince you to ask out Thor for the past hour.

"He probably doesn't even know what it means, Nat. I'm not gonna make myself look stupid in front of him."
She scoffed and harshly yanked on your hair.
"Ouch! What the hell?"
"Regardless, you look stupid all the time. Might as well try it out."
"Gee, thanks. That makes me feel a lot better." You said sarcastically as she tied the end of your braid and placed it over your shoulder.

"There. Now, come on. Let's go see what the others are up to."

She helped you to your feet and you followed her down the hall, coming to a stop at the sound of painful grunts and rowdy cheering.

"Kick his ass, bro! Whooo!"
"Yeaaaaah!"

Nat rolled her eyes and bounced down the stairs, you right behind her.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" She shouted.

A boxing ring sat in the middle of the living room with the couches pushed up against the glass walls. The men surrounded the ring with eager, bright faces and it seemed that most of them, save Tony and Bruce, were shirtless. You noticed Wanda was nowhere to be seen, which was a bit weird because she lived for a shirtless Loki.  Natasha was eyeing up Bucky, who casually flexed when he noticed her staring.

"Nice abs ya got there, Barnes." She winked.
You didn't hear what Bucky was saying because you were too busy staring at the man in the middle of the ring with him.

Wow, wow.

Thor, with his finely chiseled abs and prominent collarbones that helped to define his broad, muscled shoulders, was definitely a sight to see. The sweat on his naked torso glistened against his bronze skin and you looked away, clearing your throat awkwardly as he shook hands with Bucky and climbed out of the ring with a big smile on his face.

"Y/N!"

Before you could say anything, he picked you up and squeezed the life out of you, pressing you to his bare chest. You already knew your poker face was wrecked and the others were shocked as a deep red color tainted your cheeks.

"Is she...blushing?" Tony gave a dramatic gasp and covered his mouth in mock surprise.
"Shut it, Stark." You snapped as Thor set you on your feet and tucked a few strands of loose hair behind your ear.

"You look beautiful this morning, Y/N." His eyes sparkled as he gazed at you. Your mouth opened, but no words came out. Safe to say this was the most emotion anyone on the team has ever seen you display as you tried to speak.

"Cat got your tongue?" Clint teased. Ridicule was enough to snap you out of your trance and you whipped around to give the man a mean glare.

"You still want yours?" You threatened.
"What a feisty one. I would take her as my own if you have no objections, brother." Loki winked at you and your heart almost failed as Thor wrapped an arm around your waist possessively.

"I'm sure you would, but unfortunately, she is mine and mine only." He turned to you and lifted your chin with his hand so you were looking directly in his light, blue eyes. Before you could react, he leaned forward and kissed you tenderly, the warm pressure of his lips making you blush an even brighter red.
When he pulled away, your eyes opened to an empty room and you realized the others had silently left while you were busy-
Your skin tingled at the thought of what had just happened.

"Y/N?" You looked up.
"You...are mines? Yes?" He asked in a low voice.

You smiled and jumped up, wrapping your legs around his waist and cupping his face in your hands to bring him in for another kiss. He gripped your waist to steady you and you drew away with a small smirk as a light pink blush colored his cheeks.

"That answer your question?"

"Told you they'd kiss by the end of today. Pay up, losers." Tony swore under his breath before taking out his wallet and handing Natasha a twenty. Clint, Steve, Sam and Bruce did the same and the redhead grinned as she counted out her bills.

"There's nothin' like earning a little cash on keeping love alive. And trust me, shirtless men are the easiest way to make a girl swoon." She sighed and tucked the money into her bra before striding out of the room. The men watched as she disappeared around the corner.

"I don't know how she does it, man. It's like she has this Cupid sixth sense or somethin'." Clint mumbled.
"...Hey, guys. Who's idea was it to box in the living room, anyways?" Sam asked.

Tony shook his head as Steve glanced at him.
"Not mines. At least, not this time."
"JARVIS, who set up the boxing ring in the living room this morning?" Bucky asked.
"..."
"JARVIS?"
"Ms. Romanoff did, sir."
The men groaned loudly and Natasha, who was listening in near the door, giggled.

"Cupid, huh? I like that." She turned to flounce off when she was stopped by Loki's sudden appearance.

"Uh-uh. Cut me my half, Romanoff."

Natasha rolled her eyes and slapped a few bills into his outstretched hand, making him grin.

"Pleasure doing business with you."
"The pleasure's all mine, Cupid."
