A/N- This is at the time of the curse in Seattle. Henry is old and Lucy is awake. So are you. Regina is also awake along with Jefferson and Zelina. Killian is not awake but he helps a lot.
Jefferson's POV:
She came in my shop almost every day. I own a hat store just outside of Seattle. It was quite a drive from where she lived but I guess it was worth it to look at all my new hats. I make a new one every night.
This time she came in with friends. "Hey Jefferson, this is Ronnie and Lucy. They wanted to come look at all the hats with me this time." The way her voice sounds is so soothing and calming. I could listen to it all day. "Sounds good, have a look around."
They walked to the back of the store and then more customers came in. I dealt with the customers and then (Y/N) walked out.
(Y/N)'s POV:
"See like I said, he doesn't know who I am. He is not awake." I said to the little girl who was going through her story book. "Well there was quite a lot of tension in there so if he doesn't remember you, at least he's got a crush on you." Regina said while smiling. I smiled too except I was still upset that Jefferson doesn't remember me, most importantly he doesn't remember our daughter.
"It says here that you two have true love. So maybe if you kissed him he might remember." Lucy said as she hugged her book. I looked at the store front and thought for a second.
What if the kiss works? Will he want to still be with me? What if it doesn't work? Would I just have made a fool of myself for even trying?
"Let me talk to a friend first." I said as I walked towards the car and Ronnie got inside with Lucy.
"Officer Rogers!" I yelled to my best friend as he was at his desk obviously not as enthusiastic as I was. "What's up?" He asked getting up from his seat to hug me. "I need your help." "May I ask what for?" "Guy trouble." I said hesitantly.
"No, I don't do good with helping women when it comes to guys." "Oh come on! Your a guy! All I need to know is when it is the right time to kiss someone." He looked at me and then smiled. "Who is the lucky guy?" "Not telling unless you agree to help me first." He nodded and extended his hand. "Deal. So tell me!" "Jefferson." "The creepy guy that owns that hat shop?" "Yeah...Wait, creepy?" "Yeah, every time we go there he always stares at you. Its creepy."
I just smiled and asked my question again. "Any who, when is it okay to kiss him?" "Have you two gone out yet?" "No." "Have you told him how you felt?" "No." "Does he know that you want to kiss him?" "No."
"Well then (Y/N) I have no clue on how to help you. Your giving me nothing to have an advantage off of." Then it hit you. An advantage that's what you did have. You were awake.
"Thank you Captain, I really appreciate all the help." I kissed him on the cheek and left. "Captain? Peculiar name." He said as I walked away quickly.
I ran into the hat store with no thoughts except thoughts about my true love. "Hey (Y/N)." He said before he started to walk away from the counter because I was walking towards him very quickly. "What can I help you with today?" "Kiss me." "Excuse you?" "Kiss me Jefferson!" I yelled just before I grabbed his collar and kissed him on the lips.
"Woah." He said as he leaned back away from me. "I've missed you (Y/N) Hatter." He said just before leaning into another kiss. "Now where is our baby girl?"
