Chapter One.

Abigail Simmons.

"ABI GET DOWNSTAIRS, YOU'LL MAKE US LATE FOR OUR FIRST DAY AT OUR NEW SCHOOL!" My brother, twin brother should I say, yelled from downstairs.

"I'M COMING, JEEZ CALM YOURSELF!" My twin was called Tony. He is a major geek-wad. But I love him. He always has to be at school on time and especially now he'd obviously want to be on time as we were at a new school. Reason we moved schools was because Tony got kicked out. Therefore, my dad thought I should move schools too so we could be in the same school. Reasonable. We moved with our father. Yes, just our father. Where's our mother you ask? Well as soon as she gave birth to us, she disappeared. Well, so dad said. She basically left dad to be a single father.

I am an absolute daddy's girl. If I wanted something, I'd just have to throw on my innocent puppy eyed dog face and voila, the thing I wanted is right in front of me. I don't take advantage of him though, I could never do that. It's always been the case. Even with Tony, dad would always want us to be happy as he said, 'I would always get you everything you want as long as I have the money, it may not make up for the fact you had to live without a mother but as long as it makes you happy then I'll be happy.'

Dad always tried to make us happy. He felt bad that we didn't have a mum, especially me because I was going through all these changes and whatnot and he was the one who had to explain everything. He's done well for a single dad though. I may be a badass and all but when it comes to my dad, I am as sweet as cotton candy. I'm not two faced, no not at all. My dad just disapproves of my badass-ness. When I'm around him, I'm my usual self, but in school and whatnot I'm my other usual self which my dad doesn't like, my badass side.

"ABIGAIL!"

"WHAT, TONY?"

"HURRY YOUR ASS UP."

"I'M COMING!" I quickly finished getting dressed, actually I was finishing my makeup. I was wearing some denim shorts with black tights underneath and my converse. I was wearing a white crop top to go with it. I put on very little makeup as in; mascara, eye liner and foundation. As soon as I was done I put my hair into a bun with some strands of hair falling. I put on my glasses, yes I wear glasses. They're like the geeky but stylish looking ones. I grabbed my school bag and ran downstairs. But I ran back up realising I forgot my phone. I looked at the time. What the actual hell, its extremely early! "Tony, what the hell? Its so early."

"Yes but I thought we could nip into Starbucks and get us some breakfast."

"Oh yeah, sure. I'll be out in a minute, just go start up the car or something. Wait for me."

"Course I'll wait, pfft."

"Yeah, like you 'waited' last time. I had to run to school!"

"Shouldn't of kept me waiting then. Now hurry up."

"Fine, whatever." I walked into the kitchen to say my goodbyes to my dad. He thankfully got a new job selling houses. "Bye dad. Have a good first day at your job."

"Bye sweetie. Enjoy your first day at school. Don't get into trouble."

"I won't." I hugged him and went to walk out the kitchen.

As I was half way out the door he yelled, "Make new friends!"

I laughed and ran outside because I knew Tony was probably getting very, very impatient. I hopped into the passenger seat of the car and put my seatbelt on. Safety first! I put my feet up on his dashboard.

"Oi, get your feet off my dashboard."

"Oh shut it Tony. Just drive."

"Rude."
