Women today have many options beyond tampons and pads for managing their periods.
One is a flexible, reusable silicone cup that fits inside your vagina and collects, rather than absorbs blood. It can collect blood for 10-12 hours before you empty it. Then you wash it with water, and replace it.
They come in various styles and sizes; you may need to experiment to find the right fit.
I personally have not tried a menstrual cup yet, but I do plan on it in the nearing future. I suggest watching "how to do it" videos on YouTube before trying it. Read up on the product, educate yourself on the matter.
I've watched vlogs and tutorials on YouTube and it has seemed to ease my anxiety about using a cup. It's a much more easier and less expensive way to deal with your period so I say why the heck not use one!?
