AMIYA POV

It's been a couple of days and dads out the hospital I haven't seen him yet but tonight their having some big concert for empire I guess this was planned before my dad went in the hospital anyway I'm not going because I'm not performing any way I guess it was all over cuz I got a text saying to all meet at dads when I got there everybody was there including Rhonda Andrea's wife as soon as I walked in Hakeem started his shit

Hakeem: look who is our long lost sister how long as it been

Amiya: don't start I'm not In the mood

Truth is I'm not I graduate high school in less than a month and I got assignments up my ass plus I'm taking my SAT'S next week anyway I went and sat next to my mom and the next thing that was said totally caught me off guard

Lucious: I'm sick

Amiya: are u kidding me right now how could u even say something like that

For some reason that really got to me and I started crying like I know me and dad haven't seen eye to eye but no matter what he's still my father and it hurts to hear that he's gonna die

Hakeem: don't cry now u haven't been around dad was in the hospital u ain't come once so yeah I can say that and that's how I feel just cuz u a little brat and can't get ur way doesn't mean u stop coming around

Amiya: u know what keem just cuz I don't suck up to him and be an ass kiss for dad doesn't mean I don't care it just means I'm not dads little bitch like u
