Two months later....

Lucious eased his shades on his face before stepping out the car. Flashes of the cameras going off as he walked up the steps to Empire. It was his first public appearance since everything went down. This would also be the world's answer to the ultimate question. Who was in the hospital?

Questions were thrown at him left and right but he stayed on his mission. Turning his head he saw a second SUV pull up, the boys stepped out. A series of gasps rung out below. Lucious continued into the building, the board members were lined up with bright smiles. A banner help up that said welcome back Lyons.

Lucious smirked, they thought a banner and a little party would get them back in his good graces? He learned in the deal he made that he was the sole owner of Empire, he had control over a lot more then he expected. There was no one above him, he actually sat at the throne of his Empire.

He walked into the board room taking a seat, members flowed in taking a seat. The boys stood behind their father. He rested his elbows on the table, interlocking his hands and resting his chin on them.

"Wow, quite the turn of events." Lucious muttered a smirk playing on his lips.

"Thank you for this little party. It's nice, but instead of a welcome back it should be a farewell." He continued, they boys nodded in agreement. The board looked on confused.

"How do you mean?" Leonard asked.

"I mean your all fired." He answered flashing them a bright smile.

"You can't do that!"

"I can, and I did. Andre...." Lucious called, Andre hit a button bringing up the stick percentages.

"And if you wanted to vote, I hold majority shares here. As you can see these have been transferred to me after some good friends bought up stocks. So like I said your fired." He restated loving the look of hatred and shock on their faces. He stood exiting the room, press stood lined up wsiting for him. He took his sunglasses up walking up the small stage, his boys behind him.

"Thank you all for being us today. Today I announce my return as CEO of Empire, also proud owner. It has been a journey over the few months. I would like to announce the official withdraw of my IPO. It will take some time to fully withdraw it, but now that I'm am back in control I plan to reestablish our charities. Also resetting the foundation of this company." Lucious spoke.

"My families second record label will again partner with Empire. I plan on using Lyon dynasty as a stepping stool. Am outreach label that goes through the streets, the ghettos, virtually anywhere looking for talent. Grooming and shaping those artist for mainstream. There will also be an outreach program. I ask that you don't let your dreams be hindered, send in your videos of your songs, or raps. We want to reach those in other countries as well. It's time Empire once again reigned." He finished, the press and faculty of Empire roaring their support. His name was called out by the many wanting a scoop.

"Lucious!.....Does your wife not being here mean she is the one that was shot?" The reporter he called on blurted. He sighed looking down, it never got any easier when those words were spoken.

"I think that question answered itself." Andre spoke up, coming to stand by his father.

"There are rumors that she is dying. Care to tell us the news?" Another reporter blurted.

"We'll take questions that pertain to what the day is about." Lucious responded watching as they all quieted down. He answered the few business questions they had before he sighed.
