You Belong with Me

Part One - Chapter Twenty-Eight: Surprise Gifts

Alexa stared at her boyfriend oddly as he held up a blindfold; she was in the middle of eating her breakfast when he had appeared holding the blindfold after he had returned from the shops.

Alexa was still dressed in her blue bow print half placket nightie and was confused about why he was holding up a blindfold to her.

"Cris... it's ten in the morning, I love you but it's too early to be kinky," Alexa said making him roll his eyes at her; Cristiano kissed her lips as she finished her toast.

"It's for your surprise nena," Cristiano said as he signalled for her to turn around so that he could blindfold her; Alexa complied wondering what a blindfold had to do with her present.

Cristiano lead her into the living room and sat her down on the couch, Alexa furrowed her brow; she shifted her nightie slightly as she did so.

"I've seen our living room before Cris," Alexa said making him chuckle as he moved to get her surprise. Alexa sighed as she waited for him to return, she could hear him moving about; however she didn't have to wait long before he spoke.

"Okay you can take it off now," Cristiano said, Alexa could hear the grin in his voice as she removed the blindfold; she looked at him oddly as he held a white box. Cristiano could see that she was holding back a sarcastic response.

"Just open the box," Cristiano said amused as he handed her the box, she looked at him warily; she had a horrible feeling that it was another expensive gift.

Cristiano rolled her eyes as he watched her intently, he had a feeling that Alexa was going to fight him just a little right now especially with the fact that it was a large box.

"It isn't expensive is it?" Alexa asked making him look at her amused, Cristiano bit his lip as he watched her; he could see if he were to tell her the truth then she wasn't going to like it.

"Cris... if it's expensive, then I want you to take it back," Alexa said seriously making Cristiano laugh, Alexa wasn't amused as she watched him.

Cristiano chuckled as he kissed her, he had thought long and hard about what to get her and this seemed like the most perfect gift.

"A puppy is for life... not just for your birthday," Cristiano teased making her stare at him; Alexa wasn't sure that she had heard him right until the box moved.

Cristiano grinned as he opened the box for her, revealing a black and white Stabyhoun wearing a red bow; Alexa looked at him as she wondered what had made him do something like this.

"Cris... what were you..." Alexa spluttered but didn't get to finish as he placed the puppy in her arms; he grinned at his girlfriend who looked at him.

"Your grandparents told me that you loved dogs," Cristiano said with a shrug as he stroked the puppy that seemed happy that Alexa was holding her; the blonde stared at her boyfriend speechless.

Alexa hadn't had a puppy since she was a little girl and she recalled how that had ended; Martha had grown bored with it and taken the dog to be put down.

"Her name's Noela," Cristiano said nodding at the puppy as his two dogs entered the room; Marosca sniffed at the puppy curiously as Alexa tried to find her voice.

"You didn't have to..." Alexa said making him kiss her to stop her from talking, Cristiano smiled at her as after he pulled away and he looked down at the puppy.

Alexa found herself spending the morning playing with her new puppy, s she wouldn't get much of a chance now that she had her part-time job and she would be starting university soon.

Cristiano rolled his eyes as he watched her, making Alexa grin at him as she glanced over; she hadn't spent much time with him since Noela had been given to her.

"Jealous?" Alexa asked making him frown but he didn't deny it; the blonde knew that he wanted her attention just as much as the puppy did.

Cristiano sighed as he watched her girlfriend before his mobile rang, he looked down at the phone while Alexa continued to play with Noela.

"Hola?" Cristiano said as he got to his feet and left the blonde and the puppy to play in the living room while he headed into the kitchen; he knew why Jorge had called him and he hoped that it was important since he planned to spend the entire day with Alexa.

Alexa watched as her boyfriend left the room, she sighed as she leant back on the floor knowing that it was probably about her mother; Martha seemed to determine to get in contact with her.

Alexa didn't know what her mother wanted but she wasn't interested in what her mother had to say; she was trying to force her way into Alexa's life and control it.

Cristiano had already been forced to act when Martha had tried to give an interview a few days ago, she was being offered a lot of money to talk about Alexa and Cristiano didn't want her saying anything to the press.

Alexa looked up at Cristiano confused as Noela padded over to the Portuguese as he returned and sat behind the blonde on the floor, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck.

"Jorge?" Alexa guessed making Cristiano nod as he ran a hand through Noela's fur; he had to admit that getting the puppy was the best idea that he had had for Alexa's birthday.

"Your old agent has finally released you," Cristiano said, he had only partially told her what was going on, on that front; her old agent had wanted to use Alexa along with her mother and Cristiano wasn't going to allow that.

It was one of the reason's that Cristiano had found her the part-time job, he didn't trust anyone with his girlfriend and that started with her mother. Cristiano kissed softly down her neck and smiled as he rested his head against hers for a moment.

Alexa paused for a moment before she looked at Cristiano, he offered her a small smile before he kissed her lips; she knew that he didn't want people using her and was trying to protect her.

"I love you," Cristiano murmured as he kissed Alexa, it was getting late and the couple were cuddled up on the couch; it had been a long day and he was thrilled to have some time to themselves.

Alexa smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, she knew that things were going to be hard when she started her course and she would hardly see him but she hoped that they would be okay.

"I love you too," Alexa whispered as she felt Cristiano gently push her back onto the couch, she kissed him softly; it was something that neither of them could really get used to.

Alexa and Cristiano continued to make out before Noela whimpered making them pull apart, she wagged her tail as the couple looked at her.

"Why don't we take this up to our bedroom?" Cristiano said as he sat up a little, he wanted to ravish his girlfriend and didn't want the dogs watching him while he did so.

Cristiano really didn't like the idea of being watched while he was making love to Alexa, it was never going to appeal to him and he wanted Alexa to himself.

Alexa grinned as she nodded her head, she couldn't believe that Cristiano was a little put off by the puppy; it was something he would have to get used to especially with three dogs in the house.
