We HAVE a Connection [Sam X Josh - Until Dawn]

The Call

Sam had Josh lying his head into her lap, peacefully resting. The only noise was on the TV. Sam was binge watching the Home Alone movies (3 and up suck btw). Sam looked Down at Josh as he peacefully held onto her. Seeing Josh in pain like this made Sam feel like she was constantly being stabbed in the throat. She gently planted a light kiss on his forehead. Sam knew he needed help. Help BAD.. She looked over at her phone which was getting a call from Chris. She never answered anyone's call. She didn't want anyone else in her life.

She took a deep breath and the world around her started to turn to silence as she picked up her phone and Answered.

"H-Hey Chris..."

"Oh my god You actually answered! Me and Ash thought you were dead!" Chris sighed with relief and let out a small chuckle.

"Y-Yea.. I-I'm not dead.. yet" Sam let out a small laugh at her cringey joke.

"So... why'd you answer now and never before...?" Chris asked curiosly

"I-it's...." Sam held her words in her mouth for a few seconds before letting them out. "It's about Josh.."

Chris was silent at this point not knowing what to say. Sam heard him sigh as he answered back "What about Josh.." Sam could tell by his tone of voice that he wanted nothing to do with Josh after the lodge incident.

Sam felt a chill run down her spine after she heard the words spill out of his mouth.

"H-He needs help... bad.." Sam stopped Chris before he could say anything "I'm serious about this... He just had a mental breakdown.. I've managed to calm him but I can't let these breakdown continue..! I'm afraid he'll.. he'll-" Chris quickly cut her off.

"Hey don't worry..! Me and Ash will be over as soon as possible..!"

"T-Thank you.." Sam said while wiping the tears from her eyes and then hanging up. A few minutes passed as soon as Josh started to wake up. Sam's eyes were slightly red from crying and tears streaming down her face.

"Wakey, Wakey eggs and bakey..~" Sam said while sniffing. Josh looked up at her slightly concerned and put his hand on her cheek softly caressing it. "Sammy.. What's wrong darling..?" Josh sat up and reverse roles with Sam lying down on his chest. "C'mon you can tell me anything... Y'know I'll listen all the time..~" Josh was always a big joker, but he was caring, whether it wouldn't seem like it. 

"It's just that- I don't want to loose you.. With these nightmares you've been having I see that they're driving you insane..! I don't wanna loose you next.." Sam buried her head into his shoulder and softly cried. Josh felt a knife shoot through his heart as Sam said those final words. But all Josh did was Hug her and smile.

"No matter how hard times get.. I'll never leave you.. because you know why..?" Josh looked at Sam smiling, brushing Sam's hair out of her face.

"Why..?"

"Because with you here I feel Alive..~ I'm glad to have you back into my life~" Sam smiled as Josh softly kissed her.

Just as the kiss started to go deeper, The doorbell had rang causing Sam to fall off and yelp
