Farrah's POV

Jackson, Ramona, and I walked through the kitchen door, with Kimmy video taping us. We were dressed as pioneers, and it was terrible.

"This is so embarrassing." I groaned

"Why does our school make us dress up as pioneers?" Jackson asked

"Because it's Pioneer Day, duh. And your teacher says you're not allowed to use any modern technology the entire school day. So, hand them all over." Kimmy said

We all groaned and put our electronics in her purse, crossing our arms in an aggravated response

"What are we supposed to do in class without our phones? Pay attention?" Jackson asked, making me laugh

"How are people supposed to know how fabulous my life is if I don't constantly remind them with pictures and videos?" Ramona question

"I'm cool with this, cause now I don't have to deal with Jackson sending me the worst memes all day." I smiled

"Rude!" Jackson yelled

"Is this all of it?" Kimmy asked, referring to the electronics

"Sure is!" Ramona nervously said as Kimmy removed her bonnet to reveal a DS.

"You, too, Davy Crockett." Dj said, taking off Jackson's hat to reveal Doritos, "I don't think pioneers were eating Doritos."

"How do you know? You weren't there. Or maybe your were." He sassed, making me smack his arm.

"Come on. You kids can go six hours without your precious social media." Kimmy insisted as a meowing sound came from her phone, "Omg. Look at this cat flushing a toilet."

Ramona tried to look but Kimmy pushed her away, making Ramona challenge Kimmy to go without her electronics for the day, which she agreed to.

The two women shooed us off, so we wouldn't miss our bus...which we still did. All because Jackson had the wrong time, leaving us stranded at the bus station

"Thanks, Jackson. We missed our bus because you didn't know what time it was." Ramona groaned

"Uh, I didn't have my phone. You were the one who got us on the city bus going the wrong way." Jackson insisted

"And I shouldn't have relied on either of you." I sighed

"I didn't have my google maps. We'd better call our moms." Ramona said

"With what?" I asked

"With what the pioneers used. That." Ramona said, pointing to a payphone

"Whoa! I saw one of these in a movie. You put money in it like a vending machine, but instead of a Snickers, a phone call comes out." Jackson said
