I was woken up by the sound of the sink in the bathroom running. As I slowly opened my eyes, I could tell it super early considering it was still dark out. Grabbing my phone I checked the time and saw it was three in the morning.

Why is he up at this time?

Putting my phone back on the night stand, plopping my head back on the pillow I waited for him to come out.

I was waiting for a couple minutes and could already feel myself drifting back to sleep.

My eyes immediately fluttered back open at the sound of the bathroom door opening. Out came a fully dressed Hunter. I watched his movements as he went into the closet and grabbed his sneakers.

Sitting on the corner of the bed he began to put them on one by one.

"Where are you going?" I asked softly causing him to abruptly turn around finally noticing I was awake.

I sat up slowly, sleep no longer on my mind.

"Couldn't sleep, so imma just be in the gym downstairs" he mumbled before focusing back on tying his shoes "go back to sleep Nadia"

Crawling to where he was I lean against his back and wrapping my arms around his chest causing him to sigh. "You're gonna be okay" I reassured.

"I hope so, it's Christmas Eve and I just don't want to think about it anymore" he said placing his hand on top of mine

"Do you think you should do therapy? Talk to someone about what went down maybe?"

"Thats what I got you for. I'll just talk to you about all my problems" he shrugged

"Hunter I'm serious. Of course you can come to me to talk, but I think a professional would be best for this. I'm not forcing you but the option is out there if you feel like it gets too much" I said calmly

"I'll keep that in mind" he said running his hand up and down mine "now go back to sleep, I'll have breakfast for you when you wake up" he said placing a kiss on my forehead

"Okay" I said letting him go

Only God knows what was going on in his head and I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried.

He finally left the room and I was left in silence. Sighing I grabbed his pillow and cuddled it to my body, the smell of him lulling me back to sleep.
