Do you dream of me?
If you do it's probably not me as I am now
You remember when I was something more
Do you dread those dreams?
Or do you smile at the sound of my voice?
As I assure you of your greatness
Do you have nightmares?
If so am I the monster you try to escape?
Am I the hero that saves the day?
Do you fear closing your eyes?
I do, as I know you will appear
As you come so must you go
Do you wish it wouldn't end?
Maybe in your head I'll make my home
It appears your heart has no room for me
