Next morning
malhotra mansion

Adi is fuming and has driven rather rashly to Manik's place. after hearing from preeti what exactly had happened between manik and nandini his anger has reached its peak. he had always thought that nandini was angry because of his absence and not giving a proper justification. never in his dreams had he thought that Manik had gone and done this. broken his princess's heart

Preeti's idea of trying to calm himself down had not worked. He was still as angry as he has been last night. Nandini's face from the tree house came in front of his eyes.

he rang the doorbell and a servant opened it. nynoika and raj were like most of the times out on buisness. he shouted Manik's name and there latter came down shocked. he had no idea what had made adi so mad. For a second he was worried for nandini. Last night hadn't been kind on her.

As soon as adi saw manik in front of him, he punched him in the jaw.

Manik staggers back and locked at him shocked. Adi took another swing at him, but Manik was quick to avert the blow this time

M : what is wrong with you

Ad : wrong with me, I got to now what is wrong with you today. How could you

M : but what did I do

Ad : you have the guts to ask that. You broke my sister's heart. Nandini you did this to her. How could you

Adi was ready to punch him again, but Manik had frozen upon hearing his words. He now knew the reason behind Adi's rage and he knew it wasn't misplaced. He was ready to take the hit this time because he knew he deserves it.

Adi would not hit manik if he had not been retaliating in any other scenario, but this was about nandini and nothing was going to stop him. He hit manik in the ribs once and perhaps gave him a black eye too. But then controlled himself, and clenched his fists

Ad : you are not defending

M : because I know it's my fault

Ad : why didn't you tell me

Adi sighed and then walked to the kitchen, he brought an ice pack and threw it over to Manik to catch.
